| I think I'll be to nervous to watch this, especially the men's event... :pale:Patrick, Yuzu, Nobu, Tahahito, Jeremy... That could be a GPF field right there. To make things worse I started watching men's prectices, and ugh, Nobunari had such a scary fall in the FS practice. The first half was amazing (that 4-3 ), but in the second half he fell on a really huge 3A, and it looked like he fell on his hip/shoulder. He popped every jump after that, even in the SP practice a bit later. I'm afraid to watch the rest. I hope nobody is injured and everybody will make it to the GPF somehow... | |

| I can't believe I've missed pairs. I was sure, there's a 6 hour time difference between CET and New Brunswick, it turns out it's only 5 hours. Thank God it's pairs first, and ladies after. | |

| Wow, Amelie had a clean short. When was the last time this has happened? Second, behing Kaetlyn. I liked Amelie better than Osmond, TBH. | |

| Gracie's program and music is really not my cup of tea, but she did her elements. WoW 69 didn't expect that! | |

| Gracie, please change the music. I have a headache after listening to it for 2.50 minutes, how on earth is she able to have run throughs every day to this screaching music?! Poor Frank. 69+ points, Ashley, be very afraid, if Gracie gets it together, and alongside Frank, I believe that she will, she is going to dethrone Ash. ballerinamao, I agree, Christina's program is gorgeous, I believe it's the same as last year, with different costume. | |

| The score is sky high for Gracie.
Mao really needs to skate clean or nearly clean in both SP and LP so her scores will boost

| I really want to see the protocols now, Gracie Gold score just doesn't make sense, her spins and steps are not that strong, so doubt she received full levels, the music and her skate felt mostly unconnected. it got to be pcs. This should make nationals interesting! on the other hand I feel like Akiko's and Gao's score were too low | |

Mao has scored 200+ at her first outing, with not only flawed programs, but also with a bit uninspired LP, not that I blame her, after that painful fall, so I'd say she's there. judges have really started to appreciate her this season. So the more she'll improve, her scores will get even higher. It's early in the season, and she's a late bloomer, so I can't wait to see what she'll produce in the second half of the season. With her layout and fab programs, she has a potential of breaking WR. You're right, Akiko's second 3T got UR. http://www.isuresults.com/results/gpcan2013/gpcan2013_Ladies_SP_Scores.pdfGracie is in the lead, it'll be interesting to see how she fares with the pressure.

Gracie received level4 for the steps with +1.3 goe and also big +goe on 3-3 and spins, not to mention 30 in PCS. I mean I want her to do well, but come on 30+ in PCS for this screaching program?!

You know when skaters skate clean and nothing gets < or <<, judges tend to give them lots of GOE. Mao's program is too difficult to skate clean (because of 3A and 3F3Lo) And that is what I am worried about.
