ISU GP assignment 2008

I am wondering when this year's Grand Prix Assignment will be announced, anybody knows??

I want Mao to skate at Skate Canada and TEB like last year, but she probably will go NHK. NHK is fine, but I feel too close to final as for date. Nice thing about NHK is that I might be able to go watch or even not I can watch it live on TV!

Do you have any guess or hope for Mao's assignment?

I hope for TEB, because it's the closest to where I live... Fried

But I wouldn't be surprised if she got assigned to NHK and Cup of Russia! Japan didn't have Mao last season, so they'll definitely want her to skate in Japan this year. And if she gets Cup of Russia, she will be able to stay with Tatiana more. Tatiana can't travel much because of her health and the need to care for her mother, so Mao going to Russia would be good for them. Smile

That's only my guesses, though! Wink

They don't decide to where they want to skate but.. I want Mao to Compete in either, CoR, TEB, Sk8Can, Sk8Am....

She never competed in Russia...

After reading inskate's post, I think Mao going CoR is a very good idea Very Happy

And Mao herself probably wanna go NHK too!

I heard somewhere that the GP assignments are going to be announced June 14th!! That is in a week!!! cheers

I really hope Mao comes back to Canada so I could see her again! But I don't think she will... because Yu Na will probably do (I would be happy to see YU Na also!) because she trains in Toronto and Ottawa is about 3 hours from there. And Carolina, Yu Na and Mao have to go to all different Grand Prix.

But 4CC is in Vancouver, and this is on the West Coast and I live on the East Coast, so that's really far from where I live... For me, Vancouver is as far as if I wanted to go to Los Angeles or even Paris (approximately...)
