| Wow, Mao in Doraemon! Doraemon is a famous Japanese cartoon, and is considered to be one of Japanese culture icons. The first Doraemon manga (manga = Japanese comics) was released in 1969. The anime was released a few years later and is running to this day. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doraemon - Quote :
A majority of Doraemon episodes are comedies with moral lessons regarding values such as integrity, perseverance, courage, family and respect for elders. Several noteworthy environmental issues are often visited, including homeless animals, endangered species, deforestation, and pollution. Topics such as dinosaurs, the flat earth theory, wormhole traveling, Gulliver's Travels, and the history of Japan are often covered. IIRC, Shizuka Arakawa appeared in Doraemon as well after winning Olympics. | |

| Never thought Doraemon has been such a lasting cultural franchise ("cultural franchise" - sort of an oxymoron), rather - some pokemonothing-spinoff for male audience 15+, or something like this (never have seen any of the episodes). -_- Thanks for a wiki-enlightenment, z4mboni. Wow! Mao in Doraemon! | |

| In this program you can see some clips of anime-Mao: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I50LqfYzFdILovely, and great animation, too! Mao also worked as a seiyuu (voice actor) in this episode! So, the anime-Mao actually speaks in the real Mao's voice. I'll upload just the anime clips on swoopshare later, in case someone wanted to use them in a montage or something. | |

| I just found the video today. Part 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZ7dKSiPgpgPart 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljA15a6avNQIt was an adorable video! Though I was quite amused by some "mistakes" (i.e. it is impossible to spin on the toepicks, axels are not approached gliding on forward flat edge, Mao always places 3A at the beginning of the program and not after the spiral sequence, etc.) but it was definitely a great thing to see Mao (and Aero! ) in such a popular cartoon. | |

| Does someone have another link or maybe the file saved? Stupid YouTube took all the links down because people reported them or the company claimed copyright. | |

| I have this video saved on my PC. It will be a few days before I'll be able to retrieve it (I'm staying at campus right now with only my laptop to keep me company), but I can upload the video then if nobody else has it. | |
