In other news, Yukari 3A is looking good. Smile She landed one in the show in Japan:

One in Japanese regionals, where she received a great score:

And according to reports, she landed it successfully in practice at Skate Canada. Boogie

I really liked V/M's CD and OD. Can't wait to see the FD! Very Happy

Dube/Davison were my favorites in pairs. Their lifts remind me of Zagorska/Siudek pair!

Yukari landed her 3A, very impressive! I thought she lost it for good, but it's great she's got it back. Thumbs up!

His name is Pavel Kaska (CZE).
He wasn't shown on CBC but I think he was amazing Shocked in this SP from youtube:
https://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=086108D6C9C9A8A7

I talked to his coach & his coach said they only got word 5 days prior that he would be competing @ 07 Sk. Can. which makes his performance even more amazing to me. Shocked Very Happy

Thank you for the link, yukinosnowflake. That was a very fun program, and I liked his soft knees on the landings. :joker:
I loved his music choice - "Sugarplum" by the Bond Girls, which is a modern version of the Sugar Plum Fairly part of the Nutcracker ballet, which was also used by Mao. Cloud 9

Speaking of other skaters, Virtue and Moir were just amazing. Love

Thanks Okami:

Thanks for your comments re: Pavel Kaska & his Sk. Can. performance.
He indeed was a real surprise highlight of the competition.
not just for me but for the whole audience & judges & coaches too.
He came out of nowhere & did not show any nervousness at all.
I say keep your eye on him cause I believe he is going to do great things in skating.
As I said previously, he & his coach got word only 5 days prior that he was going to compete @ 07 Sk. Canada, & imagine he came in 7th just after the more veterans in the field.

Thanks also for the Virtue & Moir link & kind comments.
Did you know they are from my city?
