Mao's Ballade has been blocked so quickly, and Plushy's one too. It looks as if TV station staff had been waiting for it. LOL

Happy to see Taka-chan's "Hello,Goodbye & Safety Dance from Glee."
Very good choreo and it emphasizes Taka-chan's skating and step skills wonderfully. I also like he uses his upper body more than before.

The show looked amazing, it seemed that the skaters had great fun skating together.

The opening and pair numbers were adorable!

I wish Mao's and Plush's videos weren't deleted so quickly, though. I really looked forward to seeing Mao's Ballade. I hope somebody will be able to reupload the videos - perhaps somewhere else, if YT is not being cooperative.

yay! Thank you all for the YT links and thanks aoi88 for the streams! It's great to finally see THE ICE and unfortunately I wasn't able to see the broadcast live. So videos were my only hope!

I think the show was great and you can tell that the skaters have enjoyed participating in it!
Mao's EX looked great again, she was floating across the ice and looked gorgeous!
And a nice EX from Taka-chan. I love his skating and when he nails his jumps he is great! I hope that he will be in a good jumping form this season and starts winning some major competitions, he definately has abilities and skills to do that!

Plushy!
When he was skating with Mao they had great unison. A very enjoyable performance from them both.

But please... next year pair Mao with somebody more her age. For example with Taka-chan..

I don't know who said it before, but I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing that fantasy come to life once Taka-chan wins something major... and I'm sure it'll happen some time very soon! I love his new ex by the way... It's so... I don't know how to say it but it's perfect for him. Upbeat, intricate, fun... I love it! The footwork... 'drool'... Was that choreographed by Kurt Browning? I think I remember reading that somewhere but I can't be sure.

And I love Mao dancing with Jeff and jumping with Plushy. The opening and finale parts are by far the most entertaining I've ever seen in a skating show! Kudos to Sakagami-sensei if she's the one behind it again! The belly dance part with the ladies was gorgeous as well. What great costumes. I don't think the "throwing water at Adam" idea was choereographed... just the guys fooling around but hahaha! did you see his face!! Mwhahaha...

I love THE ICE! They always put on a great show! Thanks everyone for all the wonderful videos!! Mao looks so happy when she's with Plushy.

Haha, I said it some time ago in this thread As you can see I would love to see them skate together very very much
I also think that it will happen soon! Taka just needs to get his jumps together when he is skating in big competitions! His jumps are gorgeous but unfortunately he tends to pop them or has problems with landings. Maybe he has some problems with speed when he enters his jumps? He skates very fast and his jumps are very dynamic. Maybe that causes that sometimes his landings are shaky or end badly. However I am not an expert..
Hopefully he will overcome it and soon will be winning medals. And then.... you know.. Takamao!

I think she was responsible for the whole choreo of the show again. I remember she was in the video with Mao&Mai learning their number. She is also in the photo with the skaters:

Mao + Jeff =
I love that Jeff always has the biggest grin on his face when he skates with Mao. He clearly adores her and they're so adorable when they skate together.

Mao + Plushy =
It would have been EPIC if they had done side-by-side triple axels, but the double axels looked so cool anyway. I'm glad they got to do a fun program (or PART of a program) together. I didn't think anything could make Plushy more awesome to me (I blame ontd_skating for that, lol), but I LOVE what he said about Mao in the press conference: "I know you work hard, and you can win Olympic Games in Sochi", and, "It's not possible for a lady jump two triple axels in the long program. I heard from Mao I'm not normal. SHE'S not normal." Haha neither of them is normal!

Mao's ballade =
I think she's been doing slightly different timing in each performance. It's interesting that way; I kind of like it, because each time, different details of the music or choreography are highlighted in slightly different ways. I'm not sure what's supposed to be the "correct" program, but I like all of them so far. I think we may also see a longer held Charlotte spiral in future exhibitions (in larger rinks) - it seemed like Mao was worried she'd crash into the wall while holding her Charlotte and came out of it quickly. But yeah, this choreography + Mao's beautiful lines/extensions/etc + the music + the costume all combined never fails to make the whole product just breathtaking.

Taka-chan's ex =
I always liked Taka-chan, but I thought this program was AMAZING. Wow. I think most people would assume that a program combining Glee and figure skating would be a bit feminine, but he made it masculine yet fun. I was really impressed with the way he expresses the music, his speed and edging, his great jumps...wow, I agree with whoever said he's going to win a major title soon.

Jeff's program =
It was beautiful.

Mao + Mai =
This was also beautiful. And I was pleasantly surprised by Mai's movements until I realized (duh!) that she also did ballet.

Kanako's ex =
It was lots of fun and her jumps are looking so good now!

Thank you for the videos! I must say, I like the overall concept and program of this year's The Ice. The all-star cast made the whole thing fabulous!

I can't help but smile and giggle at Mao and Jeff. They look really comfortable with each other! Oh, and Plushy the Casanova! I laughed!

And then there's Mao and Mai's program! So pretty and so light! I wish they could do more programs like this one.

And then there's S/Z! I'm sorry but I just adore them! I can't help but get stars in my eyes everytime they skate together.

Of course, how can I not mention the Jump! program by Mao and Plushy. They looked happy and like someone said, I thought Plushy kissed Mao's head at the end. Or maybe it was just the angle?

Oh, and I like her improved flip technique! Although I wish the camera had caught her jump at a better angle so that I could see the flow and distance of her jump better.

Mao was just breathtaking--I'm really loving her new ex! I feel this will be a masterpiece once she settles in a little more. I loved her number with Mai, and with Plush and Jeff too--so cute!

And Taka-chan! My god that boy can dance! I've loved his skating for years, but that program had something special...the footwork was amazing!

As for S/Z...I can only use one word: magnificent.
