| Congrats to Elena on her 1st national title! Congrats to Liza for placing 2nd with an anjured knee, hopefully it's nothing serious and she'll be fully healed at Europeans. I really want to see these two magnificent ladies to have a showdown for the gold. Hopefully Anna P. who placed 4th here, will get to go to Euros as well, since I don't think Adelina is coming back this season. Holy cow, what happened to Yulia? I don't like her, but this is a horrible score. I'm also over the moon for Lena/Ruslan. They've teamed up only in april, and voila, 8 months later they're the national champions. True, Katya/Dima are out with an injury, but even so, this is an amazing achivement. | |

Yeah, I've figured. I think it's the best for her to take some time off, and regroup. And to try to fix her jump technique, otherwise, her future will not be bright, IMO.

| Yeah, even I'm not a fan of Yulia but her FS was so painful to watch. But I'm happy Lena, Liza and Anya can shine this season though. I hope to see awesome clean skates from them at Euros and grab all the medals, come one girls! I don't believe in Adelina, I mean at all. I don't think she will continue competing, maybe I'm wrong, but to me it looks like she is happy with her life now. | |

Gosh I hope Ana gets to go to Euros and worlds. I hope the FED won't be sending Yulia instead as the defending Euro champion. If I understand the rules correctly, then only the first two are guaranteed the spots for European Championships, and only the National Champion is guaranteed the spot on Worlds team? The politicking for that third spot is going to be insane. I hope they'll stick with the first three eligible skaters in all discipline, exception in Ice Dance due to B/S' injury, anything else would be totally unfair, but considering this is Russian Federation we're talking about, being unfair would be nothing new. I also don't think Adelina will ever come back, I mean she's won the biggest prize there is. Her motivation must be pretty low these days. And if she does come back, than she'll be spending the rest of career proving that she deserved to win in Sochi, being scrutinized into oblivion, with every non perfect skate being used as an "see, she won in Sochi because of the bribery" or some other such nonsense.

| @Zarina they can't drop Taka out. Tatsuki has just retired and won't go to Worlds, Shoma is going to Junior Worlds and 4cc. So World team is Yuzuru, Taka and Mura. | |

WHAAAAT?! Why? What happened? I was so looking forward watching him fight for the gold against Yuzu at worlds. I'm very happy for Taka, hopefully he's slowly coming back to his amazing form he had at 2011 worlds.

| I'm only keeping up with the scores for the short programs, but I'll definitely be watching the free skates this weekend. Looks like Ashley just scored 72+ | |

| Well, here are my opinions....
Group 1:
Zhang: Pretty but kind of meh. I miss the pearl.... and the 3lo on the end looked URed...
Shin: She's adorable and her jumps are huge. She could do a 3f+3t, IMHO...
Glenn: I really liked her program, but her steps were kind of slow. The rest was good.
Wang: If you ignored the lutz, it was actually really good? She's my favorite as of right now....
Vinci: GET A NEW COSTUME. Apart from that, she looks a bit rough around the edges....
Enjoy-o-Meter: Wang/Glenn/Shin/Zhang/Vinci (I did not finish her program because I was bored.)
Group 2:
Cleveland: I have no idea who she is, but I really liked her and her program.
McBeath: I also have no idea who she is. She's okay (a bit meh), and she does look like Cohen. (and kind of like Osmond?)
Keiser: That was beautifully awesome.
Hicks: I think Vinci had a worse costume, but hers is still bad. As for the skate.... okay, it was good. I was still bored and I'll have to admit that she's not my cup of tea. (I do agree with the person who said that they wanted Gold to skate to this.)
Chiera: I don't know who she is as well. I hate her music, but the rest of the program's good...
Enjoy-o-meter: Keiser/Cleveland/Chiera/Hicks/McBeath. (I did not finish the programs of the latter three because I was either bored or annoyed.)
Group 3:
Edmunds: She finally had a clean SP and I really enjoyed it!
Pierce: I think she can join the weird/bad costume club. Apart from that, I really enjoyed her program and her 3lz is huge. Maybe a 3lz+3t in the future?
Wagner: I really appreciate her technical progress, although maybe she should do a 3f+3t instead? Apart from that, it was really good.
Yang: I have no clue who she is, but I love her music and her program. Shame about the 3s+3lo and random fall.... and did she feel really fast to anyone else?
Cain: If you ignored her jumps, that was really good....
Cesario: I don't know if she comes off better on TV, but that was awesome and I do think she was a bit underscored.... the 3lo+3lo did look kind of messy.
Enjoy-o-meter: Um.... Cesario/Wagner/Edmunds/Pierce/Cain/Yang, but I liked everyone in this group.
Group 4:
Miller: I actually would prefer to see Gold skate this program, but she was good too.
Gao: ....um, she was really good if you ignored all of her jumps?
Gold: I respect her artistic improvements, but I think she should've gone down the bombastic route for programs, IMHO.... it was still pretty.
Bell: And the worst costume award goes to.... apart from that, she was awesome.
Chen: GO KAREN! THAT WAS AWESOME! My favorite program of them all!
Nagasu: Her dress does look like Yang's.... and she was pretty, but kind of meh, IMHO.... I miss 2010 Nagasu. (It also didn't help that she went after Chen.)
Enjoy-o-meter: Chen/Bell/Gold/Gao/Miller/Nagasu.

| And on men.... the top 3 were awesome! I also liked Miner and Rippon... and honorary mention to Alexander Johnson, who I really liked despite his jump errors... | |
