Nope, but everyone here is pretty inflated. Also, even with the fall it looks like Akiko attempted seven triples compared to Yukari's six (I think).

| OK, the scoring at this Nationals is on crack... I'm so happy that Akiko has placed 2nd and Yukari got big scores because I love them, especially Akiko... But such screwed scoring really spoils my enjoyment from the skating...
I really feel bad for Miki... Internationally she would get higher PCS/GoEs for landed jumps. And adding a 3S-2A sequence was so smart... I hope she gets the last laugh at the Olympics...

Yep. I'll let you know when it's time - there's about an hour and a half left until the JSF makes the decision.

| Yukari and Akiko both have the same PCS score: 63.28 Akiko got higher TES, though, even with the fall. | |

Good thing they're already qualified! It's a good thing. It's a bad thing that the rule "those who have already qualified must show up for Nationals or they lose the berth" is in place. What was the point? To humiliate the qualifiers? "Yes, please show up. We'll give you about the same PCS that you receive internationally, while boosting your competitors PCS by kazillion points and downgrade only your elements. Good luck." Nice payment for actually bringing Japan the most medals this season. Nationals show the international judges who does the federation support... We've seen how fast Takahiko's scores dropped when he was no longer Japan's no 1. I hope the case will be more like with Yags, whose federation disliked him so much that he hasn't won even a single one National title... but a bunch of international ones.
