| Just found this on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjH4ZWGqjJU&feature=relatedIt's a Skater from Netherland named Manouk Gijsman who's getting her choreography done by Shanetta Folle. I thought Shanetta seemed to be a really good skater with good edges! I noticed during Worlds that Shanetta choreographed a few programs (I remember Jenna Mccorckell and Sarah Hecken) ! | |

| Wow, thanks so much for that, bibi! That was really interesting! When I was watching Shanetta demonstrate, I had this very weird sensation that I was seeing Mao in someone else's body. It made me wonder--has it really been Shanetta choreographing those step sequences all along?? Many of those steps looked SOOO similar to stuff in Mao's programs. Though I have to admit, I totally burst out laughing when Shanetta would demonstrate something and the poor girl couldn't do it nearly as well. I agree with bibi--I was really impressed by Shanetta's skating! | |

| Yes that choreography does look a lot like something Mao would do. And I agree with you bibi. I doubt Tat could demonstrated very well either. I always wondered how the heck she was not only coaching, but choreographing when she looks like it would be difficult for her to get out there, and move around very much... | |

Yes, TAT does not ever go on the ice; that is what the assistant coach is for (Shanetta). But I had always thought she was the one giving the commands, even if she couldn't demonstrate, like, saying "twizzle left, double loop, twizzle right," etc. This makes me wonder if she just came up with an overall idea for the step sequences, and let Shanetta choreograph the individual steps (with some input/suggestions from TAT).

If this is true (which it seems like it is), no wonder Shanetta and TAT make such great steps. TAT amps up the difficulty and Shanetta makes it all flow This also makes me think that Shanetta could be a great coach on her own if she ever decided to part ways with TAT...or at least be a good choreographer. Thanks, bibi!!
