It seems that Miki had a good skate besides Mao. Akiko Suzuki and Rumi Suizu were also not bad. It is a bit unfortunate that Mai and Yukina were not clean. But I hope that they can have a good skate tomorrow!

It's SP practice in new costume, with Mao landing beautiful 3F-3L! She looked soo nervous in the practice, I'm even mre happy that she did well in the SP. flower

I like Mao's new costume better than earlier one after I watched her beautiful SP Love Hearts

According the article, Mao got level4 on her spiral and one spin and level3 on her step and 2 spins. She borrowed Mai's extra costume to brake her bad SP cycle and change her feeling.

I was also happy to see Miki and Fumie skated good! Yukari looked frustrated about doubling lutz.

Finally I was able to watch it!

Soo beautiful! Love Hearts

The 3-3 was so high and light! The layback and step sequence were absolutely gorgeous, I don't see what feature they missed to get lvl4. scratch

And I really loved the new dress. I thought at first that it might be too busy to fit the music, but it looked really great in motion and the long gloves highlited the beauty of Mao's arm movements. Wub

So it was Mai's spare costume..? No wonder Mao looked like Mai! flower

After GPF, Mao lost her bag(had skate boots and costume) that she checked at airport. She couldn't practice for 4,5 days on the ice. Before natinals the bag came back to her, but she had to skate in old boots in competition. She never said about this from her.

I respect Mao that she's never said any excuse type things even when she was sick etc..

How stressful! It's lucky that she managed to skate so well in old boots! Worship

Me too! She always just tries to do her best even if there are obstacles and I admire that a lot! Thumbs up!

It is beautiful indeed!

The SP was lovely. Too bad I wasn't able to cheer for Mao during the event because of my connection being down, but I'm very happy with the results.

It was very exciting competition!
Mao poped 3 axel and little landing mistake on 3f-3t, but she didn't lose her focus and skated good rest of program! I was really happy to see her smile 2 days in a row I love you

unfortunately I have hardly any time to post now but it doesn't mean I don't follow every Mao-chan's performance!

Is it just me or does anybody else also think this was by far the best performance of this LP? Yes, it wasn't clean but I think this time she showed much more personality than anytime before. She is really maturing and turning into a great artistic performer!
I think she is also becoming very strong mentaly.
It might sound strange but I am somehow thankful for all the difficulties she's had and that she didn't win everything. It may be hard to watch as I wish her only the very best but it only makes her stronger, more mature and oh dear does it show!
She is into something great and I just can't wait to see what happens! Swoon
