| Recently I made dozens of "fantasy programs", mostly using clips from Mao's competive programs. I decided to clean up and post some of them here. Mao Asada - Carmen Rougehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TczK2wmUI0Mao's SP fro this season's Nationals set to Ikuko Kawai's Carmen Rouge. Fits surprisingly well, especially the second half (although it took me some time to cut the music to exacly the required lenght). I'm surprised that (AFAIK) no elite skater has chosen this music yet, considering how many of them skateed to the original version of Carmen. Mao Asada - Tanguera del Diablohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHQyVCE7I1oA fantasy program set to Piazolla's tangos (Tanguera and Tango del Diablo). More to come soon. | |

| Okami, these montages are wonderful. "Carmen Rouge" sounds very sopishticated but I prefer the second Tango. It's sounds a bit strange yet fascinating at the same time.

| I loved both of em! The first one fits very well - and I love the music! The second one made me miss the Mao of Por -_ The fact that you get to see Mao skating both pros - it makes me a bit sad -_ I miss that EX of her's - I miss the love of skating she used to display so much on ice... But I guess she is back with her free to show the passion... Great job Okami! | |

| Okami! Oh I cried! (I usually do ) Such powerful music - She has such grace - I loved the 'blue-ish' effect as well! It was a perfect fit for her pro! Around 01.57 when she jumps in the air - the cut is just fantastic! Shrugs OC - Plain jealous of how Mao is awesome!! Now that I watch her SP again - I feel outraged! I am not a technician - I don't know much about jumps... But come on - This was worth around 73? and what Yuna did jumped her to 78? :@ BITE ME!!! Yuna is an awesome skater - She is such a talented athlete! I respect her to the core for rising to such a pressure and win the gold!.... But what Mao did was PURE MAGIC! It was! (This was my first pro of Mao I watched btw - its truly special)...(you see Tat and the other ShaneBlondie in ther smiling with Mao ) You are very talented Okami! Thank you | |

| I have two more to add! Someone did a montage on Mao's Por Una Cabeza with another version of Schnittke's Tango. I prefer this version to the film version Tat used for Mao's SP. It's much stranger, but more fasincating. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4F_MgJ1GgE Another person did a montage using the beautiful Blauer Himmel Tango. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2pc_NUNKwY I think this could be a great piece for Mao because the melody is both romantic and passionate at the same time. After revisiting Mao's Por Una Cabeza, I am more aware of the wonderful qualities of this program. It truly deserves its recognition as one of Mao's best exhibitions. I think what makes this tango program so impressive is that it manages to use all of Mao's best qualities (lightness, soft & flexible body movements) to great effect. | |

| Okami, your Waltz from Swan Lake was removed. I'll be working on some videos these days too and post them here. | |

YT mistook my montage for Mao's actual Olympic performance. Well, the swoopshare link still works. I tried to find some site that would allow viewing the video online, but I'm not sure if the links will work for you: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm14326479or http://w363.wrzuta.pl/film/2Ukf6iK626D/mao_asada_-_waltz [a Polish website, you have to sit through ~15 seconds of advertisements] - Quote :

| I made a "Scheherazade" montage using "Jupiter" clips. I used the same version of "Scheherazade" that Mao uses in her new SP (at least the first part of it ). Sadly, the video got immediately blocked on YT. . I uploaded it on Niconico and myvideo.de, if anyone's interested. http://www.myvideo.de/watch/8282857/Mao_Asada_Scheherazade (warning: ads in German for 16 seconds) http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm15753950 (warning: you need a Niconico Douga account to see it ) Does anyone know of any decent video hosting sites? (Except for Tudou, it's great but I can't speak any Chinese ). | |

Thanks! I was afraid that Dailymotion might be as strict as YT about the content, but so far the video remains unblocked (knock on wood).
Here's the DM link: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/xlecev_mao-asada-scheherazade-okami_sport You know the funniest thing about dailymotion is that sometimes it blocks very unpopular and not well known songs, which youtube is absolutely fine with. But usually all songs blocked by youtube are accepted at dailymotion. Great montage Okami, very well done!!! | |
