Eurosport will show some stuff live and some recorded. The Russian channel Rossiya-2 will show the event live.

| it's only a week before worlds. and there is still no news about mao's preparation/training. it's a bit weird maybe because we are all used to hearing about her training before worlds but i know coach sato and the team have mao's best interest at heart. so i'm just wishing mao, the best of luck in nice. | |

Completely agree. I miss the news about Mao and her progress. But like you said coach Sato knows best what's good for Mao. I can't wait until next week!

| Hey everyone! Been a while since I last posted here It is indeed a bit strange not reading or seeing some kind of Mao update for so long, but I'm sure your guys' assessment of Coach Sato stealthily working with Mao is right on! There's gonna be some segments of her in the upcoming days on shows like "Asaspo", but really not sure what the contents are going to be. I'm so psyched we get to see her in competition soon!!! It's a mix of excitement, nervous energy & curiosity for me of what Mao has been up to I wish her the best at worlds and hope she's happy and healthy! I also wonder if she's gonna have a costume change again... | |

| Fuji's Sporto started some news about FS last night with Shizuka Arakawa. Last night, they talked about Yuzuru Hanyu and Arthur Gachinski. I think tonight will be Kanako. Usually they keep Mao and Dai for the last days before the SP starts. | |

| Thanks for the news and for the clip ddmm and let's talk. I know it's impossible, but I wish all three (Dai, Taka and Yuzuru) would medal in Nice, with Dai winning of course. | |

| About coverage: In the US is it really only going to be on universal sports on TV, and none on NBC? We stopped getting universal sports this year with our cable provider, comcast. Totally unfortunate! We do get CBC here though. Are they going to be airing it? Also, is CBC going to be airing it live online, like they did with four continents? If so, what is the link again? I had it saved in my old browser, but I have a new one now... | |

http://www.cbc.ca/sports/figureskating/broadcast/Here's the CBC schedule... You can click the 3 tabs at the top to see the schedule for cbcsports.ca, CBC TV and Bold. Seems like all the events will be live online early in the morning and in the afternoon, and then CBC television will pick up mid-afternoon and prime time to show the final groups for each events. If some of you guys can get a proxy and watch cbc online, it seems like they're going to show EVERYTHING! Star85, the channel we had during 4CC was the French division of CBC, Radio-Canada... There's no news about a possible broadcast yet but I'm guessing it's going to be on this page: http://www.radio-canada.ca/sports/patinage/I'm not really sure how they split broadcasting rights, but since CBC and Radio-Canada are basically the same station, I'm assuming both will broadcast "some" skating.

| josling and chiyori thank you for the news! Yay, eurosport is showing womens long live. It would be even better if they broadcasted the short as well, but at least they're giving us some live coverage this time. | |

| Hi there!!! I'm a new user to this forum but I'm off to Nice on Wednesday. I have an all event pass and am just wondering whether this will allow me entry into the practice sessions free of charge? Also, does anyone know where the practice sessions will take place, is it near the palais des expositions?? Thanks in advance and hope to see some Mao fans in Nice, I have my Japanese flag ready and waiting!! | |

Yep There goes Mao's chance to get a ratified 3A...and the gold medal for her looks very unlikely. How is it possible for him to be TECH specialist for the third time in a row?

| So if I understand correctly, Lakernik must agree with Amano's decisions? What happened if he doesn't? As for Carolina, remember 2010 Worlds, he DG Carolina's 3T from the 3T-2T combo(and thanks to this she lost the bronze) so I don't think he will necessarily be more friendly to Caro. Though he did gave her the bronze last year by not downgrading her obvious UR 3F from her SP. | |

He has right to change it, mainly he has to control the work on tech specialist and it's assistant. Also if tech specialist and assistant have controversy, tech controller become the final voice.

| Thanks Polosatik. I hope Lakernik will be fair in his decisions. All I know is that every time Amano was the Tech specialist Mao's protocol was full of "<" and "<<". Also, poor Kanako She will be hit hard with UR and DG, I am sure. I have faith in Mao but even in 2010 when she won, two of her perfect three 3A were marked UR. | |
