Fantasy For Violin And Orchestra from Ladies in Lavendar soundtrack choreographed by TT. I was hoping they will use this music! I love it! Funny moment: as I was watching the clip (link posted by Popon) my neighbour's daughter ran into the room. She took a look at what I was watching and exclaimed "Look, Professor McGonnagal!". I took a closer look and really there was Maggie Smith among the ladies on the screen.

| By the way I still don't understand why they mentioned Jean-Claude Petit. If I'm not mistaken the music was composed by Nigel Hess. Well, never mind, it's a great choice and that's the most important. | |

I think that either Jean-Claude will play it, compose a new version of it, or simply they made a mistake when thay announced the news before. It wouldn't be the first time - I see such mistakes quite often. - kawaiimao wrote:
Curious about Fantasy Impromtu too, I hope it works for her. I think this is very beautiful, but extremely difficult music to skate to. I haven't seen a program to it that I loved (although I love the skaters that skated to it), because the music didn't match the skaters very well. But I think it might be a very good piece of music for Mao. She has the balletic quality of skating, lightness, royal presence and very good posture, and all those qualities enable her to skate to the classical music as if it was written for her. Especially to Chopin! (I just hope they'll use the piano version of the music, not the the orchestral. I find it too heavy.) BTW, I tried to make a "choreo montage" using FI, but got helplessly stuck aftef a minute and a half. This is what I managed to produce so far...
