I was impressed by Ms. Yamada who was Mao's coach before. She encouraged Mao at this ceremony.

A lot of people say that Mao stop to do the 3flip 3 loop, but how do it? she spent years of practice of that combination. she can´t just say, ok no problem, now 3 flip3 toe, and to throw many hours of practice to basket of the sweepings (al bote de la basura). sorry my english.

So it seems that 4CC really was a good lesson for Mao in two ways! First, she learned that even in her bad condition, she could still finish 3rd (and beat Yu-Na and Joannie in the long). Second, I bet Coach Yamada is right - she said, "After this, I think you will be able to try your best at any time." And I think she's right, now that Mao knows how painful it was to compete when she was unmotivated, she will always remember how motivated she was after 4CC, and she'll be able to find that motivation to keep fighting.

And Coach Yamada's comments about Kozu just made me
