Haha those are actually good compared to the karaoke video...gah, I wish I could find it but the NBC Olympics page has already transformed into a Summer Olympics 2012 page (ahh!) and it's not on youtube because of stupid copyright stuff....it seriously sounded like one of those terrible American Idol auditions.. I wish I could find the clip!

I can't believe he said that. People were feeling so sorry for Evan when Plushy was talking about quads and all that, but Plushy never made a personal remark/insult like this. Evan crossed the line here.

Was he trying to be cynical here? I'm pretty sure gender and sexual orientation are two separate things.

And it appears he created a mini-controversy with this, and apparently Evan's twitter was "hacked" and that tweet regarding Johnny was done by someone else.

Geez, why do people make such a big deal any time Evan says any little thing about Johny that isn't politically correct? Johny is just as bad toward Evan, and no one cares. Sometimes he even gets praised for it! If they want to be immature, and unprofessional towards each other, who cares? The only thing you can do is let them entertain you, and make you laugh with their on going catty rival. lol. I actually usually think I think their little comments on each other are entertaining! Some people frown upon it. I don't think highly of it either, but I'm not ashamed to admit I get some entertainment out of it I like BOTH skaters, as skaters, and as people.

Maybe Evan's account DID get hacked.Maybe his management team covered it up. Maybe he did write it, and had second thoughts when he thought about the usual backlash he gets whenever he says anything about Johny, and decided he didn't want to deal with it. If that's the case, I don't blame him. Whatever the case is, WHO FREAKIN CARES?! If you feel passionate about this story, you need to get a life.

Johnny says he's sitting out the upcoming season, but still plans to compete at the Sochi Olympics.

Johnny's outfit is getting a little buzz. Considering what the event was, it was not very appropriate...

That's weird, considering he was just talking with Keith Olbermann on ESPN. And he stated that he was going to compete in Sochi...and that was after September 1, the suppose deadline for skaters to submit their names to compete this season. Either he was just talking out of his backside, or he didn't realize that he missed the deadline.

Since neither he nor Evan had ever jumped a successful (if any) quad in a competition, while everyone else who's actively competing is doing 2-3 perfect quads in just their FS (never mind an additional quad in the SP), I'm guessing both guys will bow out of Sochi.
