I loved it! Though she only doubled the second part of her triple combination she still was fabulous!
I mean she did a triple axel! So awesome...
I just love her skating in Japan, the audience is great!

Hahaha, I know I'm really late in commenting this thread but just want to show my appreciation to mao's performance in this competition. I only watched her last year's performance so I went online and searched for her performance today.

My, my, am I pleasantly surprised. I couldn't find the full version of her FS performance but what I saw (including her Exhibition number) was enough to wow me. First, her triple axle (in my personal humble opinion) is one of her best yet - perhaps it also has to do with the camera angle: it really showcases the height and flow of her jump.

Then, there is her triple flip-triple loop combination. I haven't looked at her scores yet but I am guessing that the second jump was not downgraded. She completes part of her second jump on the ice, but i don't think it's more than 1/4. - i have yet to see her jump this combination with the similar sense of flow and ease this season.

Hopefully, Mao would be able to perform to her potential in LA! I really love seeing her skating with such freedom and passion.

*sigh* i checked... the second triple loop was under-rotated... *sob*

Her first combination with the double loop is well executed though...

I have 2 decent versions: 640x480 with CBC commentary (a bit blurry) and 960x540 with TVAsahi commentary. Would you prefer one of them, or both?

Thank you once again Okami! I've been looking for it everywhere. I need it for my montages. Do you know if there's a good version of SC EX? I only found poor quality videos.

Hmm, no. In 2009 we had the first World Team Trophy, so there was no JOP. Btw, this year we'll have the second one, right?

They aren't perfect (again, a bit blurry), but I've used them in montages before and they looked fine (with a bit of tweaking in VirtualDub and/or Premiere).
