Things like this happen, after 3 consecutive good performances in the short it was expected to have once a bad competition. I am more curious to see her 3F-2L combo

Maybe we'll see tomorrow the old Mao back, who has to fight her way to the top after a bad SP(I remember she rarely used to skate clean in the SP but came back with breathtaking LP's)

And considering that she did 3Lz-3T 3F and 2A she could have very well finished in first...

Mao's interview after SP:
I made one big mistake, but other than that I think I did well. I know why I made the mistake so I will not repeat it in FS. I felt tense at the last jump in SP. I strained the right leg too much at takeoff and the axis tilted. I felt pressure in the atmosphere that no mistake was allowed and became cautious. Tomorrow's FS is the last performance for this year. I want to finish this year with the best performance and build a momentum for next competition.

Just watched Satoko on TV.
She did very well.
TES was 34.63! PCS 25.56.
