| Things like this happen, after 3 consecutive good performances in the short it was expected to have once a bad competition. I am more curious to see her 3F-2L combo | |

wow Satoko finished 3rd after SP. (She finished 2nd in FS at nationals last year after stumbling in SP) And considering that she did 3Lz-3T 3F and 2A she could have very well finished in first... | |

| http://sportsnavi.yahoo.co.jp/winter/skate/figure/headlines/20121222-00000005-spnavi-spo.htmlMao's interview after SP: I made one big mistake, but other than that I think I did well. I know why I made the mistake so I will not repeat it in FS. I felt tense at the last jump in SP. I strained the right leg too much at takeoff and the axis tilted. I felt pressure in the atmosphere that no mistake was allowed and became cautious. Tomorrow's FS is the last performance for this year. I want to finish this year with the best performance and build a momentum for next competition. Good to know she knows why she made mistake. | |
