Title: The one who gathers light

When I saw you for the fisrst time,
you were an innocent child
But you turned on the ice
jumped brilliantly and successfully
have gathered lots of joyful voice
and won the applaude of the audience

Classical and pop music
Ballet
Everything was in a harmony
It seemed that it had guided your skating

After being in twenties
you have been attractive as a woman
I have been a fan of you more and more
Your expression have been deeper
You have improved figure skating as an composite art

Whenever you skate
Light cames on the ice
Your smile spreads the same simle on people
When you skate
Everyone is going to be one
and wants to cheer you up

That is because you are the special one who gathers light

As the moonlight
You shine people tenderly
And graciously

I have been waiting for your poems

The Ice by blueboots1997

I remember Mao Asada
Especially, the performance she danced with other skaters on the ice
Still now, I don’t forget them dancing together

Jeffery Battle was interesting like Toron actor
Qing Pang and Jian Tong’s Liebestraum
Alissa Czisny’s Moon River

Their performance will be in everyone’s heart
For ten years, a hundred year, ten thousand years
Even now, the words
“Power to the people” is in my heart

Next year, again,
Let’s enjoy dancing and singing

Last year
In Aomori
They danced on “The Ice”
At that time
I think they smiled

Next year
If it is on in Osaka,
I’d like to see
The Ice

Me, again....... "A flower on the ice"

On the ice
You bend deeply and
Pick up flowers with other flower girls

After a long day
Despite the hard wall
You overcome and smile

This is your hope
Your mother’s
And ours

Please never give up
Heaven knows
Who is the one

In my heart
There is a flower
Still now

It will never die
The flower is real
You are the only one
Can achieve such a thing

I really hope
You are not leaving so soon
Your skating is everything

Your life
Beauty
And smile

There has been a flower since I saw you
On the ice

The first year: dynamic sprite

Next few years: angelic beauty

But then came despair

Hopelessness

Reinvention

But at the cost of results

Death.


But with every tragedy, comes the ability to rise above it.

The poem is actually a short summary of Mao's senior career...

From jumping dynamo (2005-2006) to a delicate and airy sprite (2006-2009) to Bells of Moscow, jump technique changes, death of mother, (supposed) death of career (2009-2012), to the current Mao we all know and love.

I made a new poem about love with thinking of the music of Mao’s new sp.

First love

Suddenly
You appeared
In front of me
Like a dream

In my dream
You came to me
And touched me softly
I couldn’t move

After I saw the dream,
I felt you closer
It was funny
But interesting

I couldn’t imagine my feeling
Without thinking anything deeply
My first love came to me
It was the beginning of our story

Day by day
I came to know you
You called me every night
It was nice to listen to your voice

I really like your voice
It hasn’t changed since I met you for the first time
And your smile
Forever

The reason why I like you

Lots of pressure
Unreasonable criticism

Under these circumstances

But thanks for your performance and existence
I could keep going

Even though you retire, your spirit and art will be followed by others
It means you will be in your followers

And encourage people
who suffer from their difficulties

I read an article about you this morning
My son told me about it yesterday
I read aloud
I found the truth
You started skating when you were five
You have never skipped any season
I was so surprised

Tonight I saw you on youtube
You look confident
Full of energy

I realized
You can make it
Everything seems to be clear
For you

You are ready for it

I pray for your skating

Mao season

This season of the year is coming
On the snowy ice
You will describe your emotion
Your love and your truth

Silver and white lines

Pure and perpetual movements

Sometimes soft

Happy holidays are coming soon

We are not perfect
Especially trying higher skills on the ice
Nobody knows what will happen next
I had never seen any competitions before
Afraid to see their falls or mistakes
So I only enjoyed the shows peacefully
But when Mao made the decision
I changed and have become stronger
Enough to see the competitions directly

To be one of her fans is so honorable
To be there with her
Along the rink side
To call her name in a small voice

I want Mao to feel happiness to skate
After her each performance
During the rest of the coming season

Thank you, zarinaballerina and linglang: I have been happy a little after reading your comments.    Thanks for Mao, I can explain my thoughts with other people. It is great to face such encouraging people. With friends and co-workers, I could talk about Mao almost all day long. And it is still not enough. Suprisingly, so many people think about Mao. It is increadible. And no one around me said negative things. One of the co-workers put tiny flowers on the desk to heal my feeling. It may be a tiny thing, but cheered me up very well. Sorry, this is not a poem.

Spring has come

Under the cherry blossoms
We walked side by side
You said to me
I was so happy to come here
And be able to see Mao and other skaters

I felt the same

After the competition
At station
There were so many people filled with the space
You guided me in waves of people
Everyone walked so slowly
Carefully

The night we could share the performance
I couldn’t find any words except it was great.

At hotel
We talked how beautiful it was
Talked about many things
Sometimes crying and smiling
I could find a friend to share
Things wonderful in life

Just like
