It may to explain his poor performance   and he is planning to continue competing  , may be he wants the national title, likely if Dai and Nobu retire, though with Machida and Yuzu wont be easy.

Does anyone have news about Taka after the Japanese Nationals and the Olympic team annoucement?
In the beginning of the season because of his injury, I had thought he might not be able to make to the Olympics, since someone would outjump him.

Thank you, silenceisgolden.  I admire he said it would be a good experience when he was interviewed after the Olympic team annoucement in a youtube clip though he's hurt and in tears.

news...he passed the badge test for level 8
he skated for elements, SP, and FS within 1.5 hours !!! and with no miss.
although there is no requirement for quad in the test but he still put 4T in it and landed it perfectly.

there is a story about his interaction with a sick student...but I have no time to translate

in the end, Ms. Nishida said what everyone wanna say to him "please keep skating to the day with no regret, because you give a lot of ppl dream and hope"
