Did they say something interesting? Nothing too interesting.  Apparently at first doing all the head-rolling in their pair program was making Mao dizzy, but then after practicing for awhile she got over it. They talked about how Mai is writing a column for a local newspapers, and when she interviewed Mao she asked why Mao got so nervous before Worlds, so then Honda-san was like, well, she's going to Worlds, isn't it obvious that she'd be nervous? And then Mai said something like "I don't understand how I can have a World champion so close to me" (ie, it's weird to think that Mao, her baby sister, is a world champion).  Mai's goal is to do well to go to Nationals; Mao's goal is to do everything she can do at each and every competition.  At the end, the announcers were talking about how Mai can probably ask athletes all kinds of (personal) questions that they normally can't ask. That's probably true! | |

I heard there were some talk shows this year too, but I havn't seen any from the broadcast so far. Oh no, but what about Taka-chan?!  Isn't Jeff a little old for Mao..? (He's even older than me, which makes him really old by the standards of this forum ) But then again, if it's true love...  Yes, he may be a little old for her, but not too old. I think anything within ten years is a good range. Although even that makes me a hypocrite. My boyfriend is even older than that! I'm not even going to say exactly how much older than me he is... lol. But we've been together for over two years, and we'rebest friends too. My last boyfriend was 8 years older than me too. I've discovered that when you're young, a guys who's a few years older than you is usually better than someone you're age. Ok maybe (I feel ancient right now) and I do agree that Jeff would be a bit too old for our little Mao. He's so sweet though!! 
They're wonderful to watch together. Mao grew so much since last year's show. You can tell she's really having fun with that number while last year, she looked really tight and nervous.
