| http://www.sponichi.co.jp/sports/flash/KFullFlash20090509103.html This article lists the locations for the 2009 NHK Trophy, the GP Final, and Japan Nationals:  NHK Trophy, the 4th event in the GP series, will be held from November 5-8 in Nagano Big Hat The Grand Prix Final will be will held from December 3-6 in Tokyo's Yoyogi Stadium 2009 Japan Nationals will be held for three days from December 25 in Osaka's Namihaya Dome ****************** Hm, so if all goes well, Mao will be back in Yoyogi Stadium at the Grand Prix Final 4 years after she won it the first time...interesting!  It's also where the WTT was just held. Hopefully it is a lucky rink for her, though then again, I'd be happy if she saves all her luck for the Olympics!  | |

| Mao also has a history at Nagano Big Hat (2 Nats), so I certainly hope this spells success for her!  It's been a while since I've seen Namihaya Dome as the venue for a skating competition, but I hope it'll be a good opportunity for the Kansai folks to watch skating, as competition seems to be centered around Nagoya/Nagano/Tokyo in Japan.  | |
