Kirakira, thanks so much for the performance links and that funny photo! I actually missed most of it on TV except for Dai and Mao's performance, and since it's kind of frustrating thesedays to search for skating vids on Youtube (since you end up getting a long list of hostile vids whichever skater's name you search with), you're links were a great help.

Like some of you, I found Yuzuru just dazzling!
I thought he was good at juniors of course, but I didn't know he could do that well! His speed and energy was great, and he seemed to have pretty good edge work, too. Now I'm really looking forward to seeing him, next season.

And I know I'm a bit late on the subject but, Mao's 3-3! I was so surprised she did a 3A in the show, but the 3-3 during practice was a bigger and nicer surprise. When aoi88 introduced us that Wallylutz guy's program suggestions for Mao in her new thread, I thought at first it was all kinda too much since they include all the jumps. But if Mao had been practicing her other jumps even though she didn't do them last season, I'm starting to think that those programs may be possible...can't wait till next season!

I went to the last Saturday night show in Tokyo!
Mao skated Caprice beautifully! She popped 3A (It's great that she attempted 3A having fan!) , but except for that, totally amazing She was shining
For Batsuchan and dear Taka-Mao shippers,
I watched carefully if Mao was next to Taka-chan or not , but it didn't happen.

Thank you for looking for Taka-Mao moments, even if you couldn't find any! I think the spotlight has been on Mao and Dai, so there has not been a chance for Mao and Taka-chan to be paired up in the shows!

At least we know they were sitting next to each other in the rehearsals!

Wow, this sure was done for the persona that did those videos with Mao´s perfect programs when still had not perfect programs .

Good job, but if she/he can do it so real Why not a prettier dress?

It seems to have been made over Mao's Nocturne dress. She looks younger, and the dress is sleeveless. The skirt is quite... round.

Try taking a better look at how the ice is a bit blurry around the fan and her skirt. You'll notice it's been photoshopped then. Plus I don't think our Mao would choose to be as orange as this, even if she does lack sense in fashion a bit.

I've heard Mao was wearing orange dress in Osaka. Many people said same thing, so I don't think it's wrong info, tianrushi

That seems to be the case, isn't it? All of the SOI Osaka reports I read mentioned the same thing regarding the orange dress (+ orange fan) being used for Caprice.

I wish we could see an actual photo though!

The anonymous board that is you-know-where. It appears Yuzuru have attempted and managed to land a quad on one of the SOI Osaka shows as well.

It seems that some people in Japan are making quite a fuss because the Stars on Ice broadcast used a mix of the different shows--ie, they substituted the part where Mao fell on her 3F with a clean 3F from a different show.

But I don't think there's anything wrong with that at all!
It's an ice show, not a competition!!

According to Nikkansport, after attending a celebration party organized by Japan Skating Federation, Hanyu announced his plan to try a quad jump next season, even though at present he did not know whether he would compete in junior competitions or senior ones. He also that he practices quad jumps and every day he nails 2-3 quad jumps.
