That's weird, the Tarasova's attitude, I mean. She was the one to approach Mao, and appeared friendly when they worked together.
I think she is right about the 3 jump passes, but wasn't she the one to choreograph the program? silent

But more importantly, I just watched the program and it was gorgeous Wub

I just love the new layback. Swoon

And the final combo was gorgeous too. Swoon

I think Mao could leave jumps out from her program altogether and it would be still an amazing thing to watch.

I saw it too! and I like a lot the new changes in her spins!! Her layback is sooo impressive!! And I also saw that even if she didn't do well in jumps, she didn't let it affect the rest of her performance, I thought the rest was really better than at the TEB!

I have faith that Mao will do well in her LP. She seems to be quite comfortable with her LP this season. Good luck!

She seems to have a 3A and 3F-3T in her LP. I am impressed that she has incorporated 3F-3T within such a short period of time since TEB.

Although I haven't had a chance to watch her SP yet, I am also looking forward to seeing newer versions of her spins. I feel that she is getting better and better in her spins since the last season. flower

All in all, it seems that she just keeps learning and growing. That's really cool. Although we don't always get the immediate result, we will eventually do so as long as we keep moving forward Thumbs up!

When I was at Skate Canada, I saw Mao doing many beautiful 3flip-3toe! So, I'm quite confident with this jump!!

I just got depressed. Looks like Mao can never win - ever if she skates perfectly with 3A and two 3-3, it's enough that the judges will low ball the PCS and GOEs (even though some give posotive ones) and not give deserved level on footwork... pale

I don't understand the -1 eitehr... Even Tatiana sounded so excitet after Mao's performance Too sweet!

Maybe the judges gave her low scores because she skated first, sort of a bad habit after the 6.0 judging where they had to leave the place for the upcoming skaters...

3A looked gorgeous, I don't see how could it got deduction. 3F-3T was so lovely and high too... Maybe a tiny brush with her free foot..? But I think the deduction was too huge. Sad

And PCS way too low for such a performance. Suspect
