| Chan must be the most overscored skater under this system. Even Yuna got hampered when she messed up in the short at Worlds. | |

Adam talking about his accident in the warm-up: - Quote :
- At the early morning practice, Rippon and Chan had a crash that rattled the entire arena.
"I don't know if it was the worst collision I've ever had, but it was definitely the most exciting," Rippon said. "I was doing a walley, Patrick was doing footwork, I think. I was in the air when I heard people screaming; I thought, 'I can't wait to see this.' Two seconds later he was helping me up."
Although Rippon hit the ice with his cheekbone and shoulder, catching some nasty bruises, he said it had no effect on his performance.
"I actually think it helped knock the nerves out of me," he said. It seems Adam takes his sense of humour after his mum.
And a bit from Nobu and his coach: - Quote :
- "Every time you mention Shintaro's name, his face just lights up," Barkell said. "He's definitely skating with renewed confidence."
Friday night, Oda was crisp and clean, hitting a triple Axel; triple flip-triple toe; and triple Lutz. The highlights of his program were three spiffy Level 4 spins, particularly a forward camel that drew cheers from the knowledgeable Canadian crowd.
"I did a good job with my jumps, spins and steps, but of course, I can still work more," Oda said.
"I was really upset after worlds, and I just wanted to practice more and more, to be more confident. I really have more confidence now."
The skater added that his new family has a lot to do with his renewed outlook.
"My wife supports me a lot back in Japan, and my baby motivates me to be better," he said. "They make me so happy right now." | |

| Although i see a lot of people criticizing Nobu's short and I'm not his fan, but I really like this program! First of all, my favourite song by Yoshida brothers Second, his energy and power suit this music so well. Go Nobu! | |

| at Patrick's scores...I think even the French guy did better than him... He said in the interview afterwards "Now I know what people feel like when they do the quad"- well Patrick, why were you commenting on how quads were so easy during the Olympics and dissing Joubert/Plushenko? Being Canadian doesn't help me like him...sigh... But Nobu did so well! I love his jumps- and his interview afterwards was cute too haha- he said: my baby motivates me to be great | |

| I don't know how many times Tracy Wilson used the word "unorthodox" for Preaubert...perhaps a thesaurus would be helpful...
I liked his style- it was very unique haha
Here comes Pchan... | |

| Radio Canada goes haywire. Oh well, I'm sure PatC is going to score in the mid to high 150s. Just a hunch. | |

| Hm. Adam's PCS takes a steep nosedive from what he had at JO (granted, he was perfect there but still). This is *SO* 4CC 2009 all over again. | |

| Skate Canada is always desperate to have PatC win on home ice. Nothing new. Hopefully this kind of scoring won't remain in place for GPF or Worlds, because at this point Patty's scores are even more WTF to me than Evan's last season. But then again, I've felt this way at 4CC 2009, WTT 2009, Olys and Worlds 2010 tooETA: When's the last time someone won an ISU competition with a grand total of four falls, anyway?

| I just looked at the protocals. There were some low scores (mid 6's) for Nobu's PCS, while I saw several 9's for Patrick. | |
