| Wow that's a huge score! Not that am not happy - Just hoping it won't fuel the overscoring drama... I really want to see the performance now! | |

I think his 4T has been in better condition recently...? But the jump layout he submitted (which is on the sportsnavi page) has 4T-3T listed as his first planned element, so I guess they decided that awhile ago... ETA I guess this puts the pressure on Yuzuru-kun now! Don't think about the others' scores, and just focus on yourself!!

| Yuzuru's quad became a triple, and the landing was off. 3A was ok. Put his hands down on 3Lz but was able to tack on a 2T. 74.82 = 3rd. I guess the pressure might have gotten to him! ETA I guess I won't stay up to watch...see you guys tomorrow!!! | |

| finally got home and saw scored on the bus. Dai always surprised himself every time he felt he was shaky during practice then he will be doing great in competition. like he landed 4F in NHK practice and he can't remember where he did that. I don't mind Dai leads in SP but I am a little surprised by the score. hope they can keep the competition exciting even the gap is huge. There is always a little over-score in national championship for EVERYONE, maybe they want to make every skater has good Christmas especially JSF ruin thier holiday plan until they retire from competition. they even ruin some retired skaters' holiday plan like Shizuka and Takeshi Honda. they always need to be around for the big event until someone can replace them--> maybe Dai for 5 or 10 years later will take their job ETA: they announced there is calculation error then correct the results then Yuzuru placed 4th. http://sportsnavi.yahoo.co.jp/channel/live/show/winter/584&manual=1

| I don't understand why you guys think Dai was overscored, and the gap is right. Dai did 4t-3t, not just quad, but in combo. Kozu was clean but thats it. And of course their PCs are not comparable. Dai is 5 heads over the Kozu. | |

| I can't wait to see Daisuke! Please, if there is a link with his performance, I would like to see it ,please please please! If Chan can score 95 for his boring SP, why can't Daisuke score 96 for his gorgeous, mind blowing SP? I can imagine how the audience exploded after his quad combo. Remember 2010 worlds when Mao said Daisuke's good performance inspired her to skate well? Maybe the same thing will happen here (I read on goldenskate that Yuzuru's score was updated and that he is now behind Machida. Can anyone else confirm it?) | |

(I read on goldenskate that Yuzuru's score was updated and that he is now behind Machida. Can anyone else confirm it?) it was confirmed and I linked it in my post above. ps. I was surprised by Dai because I never saw that kind of score before not because he can't have that or something like that. I was also surprised by Taka when he got 180 in worlds.

| Thanks Shikure! I was too excited and I missed your post Happy for Kozu too! I mean I love Yuzuru but I am happy Kozuka is in front of him, because he didn't have a very good start of the season and now he bounced back! Plus, he had extra pressure as the current national champion. Yuzuru is young and he can learn from this. He still has an amazing season so far and will probably make the podium | |

Dai did it, congratulation 4t - 3t, I really did not expect this http://sportsnavi.yahoo.co.jp/winter/skate/figure/headlines/20111223-00000012-spnavi-spo.htmlhe said he can't accept that (he didn't do well) physical condition is fine, his current status is fine. he landed twice 4T-3T in 6 mins practice. he felt he didn't pull all the way through so he will have stamina for tomorrow (laugh) skating last is also make him feel nervous since he always skates earlier in GPS. it's also something he needs to learn. (he said this~ this is not my comments)
