| Sviatoslava, thanks for the pics and the news. Hm, I wonder how her training is going if rink is not of good quality, considering she's used to training at Chukyo. | |

| Thanks Sviatoslava for the pics. Mao in the same black & pink training suites, adorable The watery ice surface rink reminds me of a rink I used to skate when I was a child. (Not figure skating, just skating round and round.) To be honest, I was disappointed when I heard Mao choose Lori and TAT for this season again. But now I expect TAT will do a great job with Choreographic Sequences. I'm looking forward to her new FP. | |

| Yes, this pink colour of Mao's training suites is well-known... People in Russian sourses suposed Budapest was chosen because of two reasons: 1) maybe in Japan now are power-saving of atomic power station in summer. And this is somehow have an influence at work of training rink in Japan. So skater need to seach a rink by the wayside overseas; 2) because of Budapest is in the same geographical location that is Sochi (as for a long-term outlook in perspekctive). | |

| something i don't get it is ..Miki said she is in yokohama preparing for DOI ~4 hours ago from twitter. so the "miki" the person said is apparently not Miki. and DOI is next weekend, I don't think Miki will go there now since the travel will take her two days for round trip (almost).
In addition, someone went to chukyo for seminar (not skating realted )and she said ppl there told her Taka is training in chukyo today. so i think the usage for rink didn't impact by power-saving in Japan.

I doubt that a short stay in Budapest has something to do with the possible acclimatization in Sochi. As for the power saving, I am a little bored to explain in various forums that in winter people in Japan spend more money on energy bills than in summer due to unavailability of the central heating system, the one that we have in Russia and Ukraine. I agree with the previous poster that the choice of the rink has nothing to do with the consequances of the Great Tohoku earthquake. Actually, many rinks are going to be busy more than usual due to a bunch of summer FS shows all around Japan.

Maybe, she's working only with Mao on something (like when Mao and Mai did a duet), or Mao will have a bigger role in the group numbers so they're working on that. Star85, that was mean. I was so excited and then nothing appeared, I thought something is wrong with my computer and then I scrolled down... I have to say that the lack of news is killing me as well. It's good for Mao that she has some privacy and isn't bothered by the media, but for us fans it's a torture.

so the "miki" the person said is apparently not Miki. and DOI is next weekend, I don't think Miki will go there now since the travel will take her two days for round trip (almost). Yep, this people later said that Miki have got planned in those skating rink, but there is no her in fact. About Mao this have remained unconfirmed, only stayed rumours. And maybe becauce of next weekend's DOI for Miki it is anreal. In russian or through translator can read about it in this page in russian sourse. I suppose those user there no need to tell lies about, but they are wrong in some detailes. - let`s talk wrote:

Well, thank for yours more precise definition about. And what do you think, why Budapest was chosen for this short stay? With all those problems with quality of skating rink and local skaters' problems.
