This small competition took place on 23-24 August in Hackensack. Some skaters, like Nobunari Oda, Adam Rippon, Fumie Suguri and Miki Ando have debuted their programs there!

That's about SP... Actually until I've read the reviews, I didn't believe that two of the skaters I love (Mao and Nobu) would end up with the same music & choreographer! What are the odds? Laugh

I can't wait to see "waltzy and dreamy" Masquerade programs! Don't tell me I'll have to wait 'till the GP series! Panic!

About the LP:

Glad to hear the performance was good.

Adam seemed a bit out of shape, but the season's still young... And in SP he skated to a new version of music that he hadn't had time to get familiar with, so it will surely get better with time.

I can't wait to see Fumie's "Otonal" and Miki's "Chairman's Waltz". It's great they seem to be doing better. Yep!

The rink was so tiny! The programs looked great, though. Miki's music and costume is gorgeous. Love Hearts

Her program is lovely as well, and her posture and arms have improved a lot since Worlds. Thumbs up!

I love Nobunari's music and choreo - very dreamy and passionate. I think he had a bit of trpubles skating on such a small rink, especially during footwork sequences. They looked better at Kansai Show, when the rink was a bit bigger. Jumps splendid as ever - 3A, 3Lz-3T and 3F in Gala! 3F was just amazing, perfect angle of the camera to see the deep knee bend. Swoon

Dice-M improved a lot. His jumps still look very scary at the take-off and in the air, but he lands them! He even landed a quad in competition. I hope he does well in his GP events.

Fumie looked great as well. She popped her jump, but otherwise her skating looks much better now. SHe's very graceful and the final scratch was awsome. Thumbs up!

The Morozov team all were great! I can't wait to see those programs skated on a normal rink and in good quality.
Look at Nobu's 3F! Amazing landing, I felt it in my stomach. Swoon

It was a bit of a letdown to watch Oksana after them... Lips sealed

She's so out of form it was embarrassing to watch, especially when she desperately tried to be "sexy" and did that scene with the guy on a chair... Escape
