Lambiel's new programs for 2009-1010 season

The second part of SP gives me a deja-vu feeling.

I can't wait to see those programs a bit later in the season - they look promising, just need a bit more polish.

Oh, I was there and to see the programs live was just breathtaking! Really amazing! 1000x better than the homevideos on Youtube! He's back for sure and he will fight for a medal in Vancouver! His step sequence in his SP was just ...I don't know a good word for it ! It gaves me the creeps!
When I saw his SP costume my only thought was OMG ! But when he skated it matched with the music!
He landed a PERFECT 4T-3T in the warmup for SP , but he was going into the jump too fast in the program! At the press conference he said that his form would be by 70-80%, he also said that naturally the 3A will be there in the next competitions!
I think now he knows that he needs the competitions, the victorys and the rivals and that motivats him more than 18 months ago! And thats why his PCS are still higher, he knows that he can't live without figure skating and he puts all the love into his programs !

S/S were good, but not stunning! Their SP is nice, they skate to "Send In The Clowns" and their costume and their make up (Robins too ) was adjusted to the music !

Their FS wasn't that good, but I think it will grow through the season. But her warmup for FS was really strange! Of the 6 minutes, they skated only ca. 45 seconds together. It seems that they had a unsolved conflict or something...but it doen't really matter while they skate as beautiful as last season !

The level at the ladies was just frustrating!
No one came over 100 points in the FS and I always thought : "Mao would have 30 points more in the FS!"
Sarah Hecken and Elena Glebova were the only one who do a 3-3...
But Alissa and Kiira were surely the stars of this event !

Now I must sleep ...school tomorrow !

Can't wait for Saturday !

Thanks for the report! You were so lucky to see Stephane and other skaters live. I was there last year, but this year I couldn't go because of my teaching practices.
