I think they may broadcast news about figure skating towards the end of the program. I've seen this program reporting about Mao before and I hope they will!! The announcer (the man) looks very familiar. Btw, sports is often broadcast last in a news/current affiars show.

Houdou station is covering golf now, so it shouldn't be long (I hope).

I think Mao nailed her 3A+2T but popped her solo 3A to 2A(?). My feed froze...

I have a feeling that part of the reason was Mao's disappointing show (to the Japanese media ofcourse) at TEB.

Compared to the more uplifting successes of other Japanese athletes in say, golf and baseball, figure skating news at the moment does not have enough "news value". Anyhoo, glad to see Mao nail the first 3A - albeit perhaps underrotated. The quality of the feed wasn't good enough for me to detect underrotations. I thought her 3A-2T at the beginning was amazing at first (the height and coverage of ice is great) until I saw inskate's post. *sigh*

I just hope Miki managed to memorize her choreo! 4 days is an awfully short period of time. Ganbatte, Miki!

MikiAndoFan#1 - Miki looked fine in the practice clips. She looked relaxed and I think her team is very careful not to let her peak too early.

Mao, on the other hand, looked just tired. I worry about her jumps.

Who saw Mao today said that she looks pretty good, I think all her problems are nerves, what is I really hope for is that Tat find Mao japanese Zagainov Oh, I'll cheer for Mao very loudly!!!!!!

But it's impossible to judge from practices I guess - since Mao had a terrible pre-LP practice but it went not too bad at TEB...hmmm...

No wonder why she looks tired. It was such a busy schedule and I guess she has practiced a lot after TEB too.
