Stream infos can be seen here: http://hotbladeshotpassion.blogspot.ca/2012/11/cup-of-russia-2012-streaming-and-entries.htmlBtw, my predictions are... 1.Takahiko 2.Pattie 3.Nobu 1.Adelina 2.Kiira 3.Kanako But my hopes are... 1.Takahiko 2.Denis 3.Nobu 1.Adelina 2.Kanako 3.Kiira plus the Shibutani's on the podium for ice dance! Anyways, I wish all the skaters the best! I do hope Pattie can skate better than he did in SC (same too for most of the guys who've already finished their first assignments), but if not I think Takahiko has a pretty good chance of winning gold. But I don't mind if Pattie wins as long as he's back to his usual self and delivers well. And as much as I'd like to see Kanako on the top of the podium, if Adelina can deliver well too, I have no choice but to feel she deserves to win this one more. To be honest I'm not that crazy about Kanako's pros this season...it's like she's rushing into doing more 'mature' pros, while I think she should still stick to happy energetic pros which fits her personality more.

| Been reading the practice reports at GS... I hope the Japanese team will do really well and that Adelina will medal. Hoping Alena will do better here also. | |

| Pochi, your hopes are my hopes too. Oh and I'd love to see Denis on the podium !!!! he's been struggling for so long time. He sounds to be a very nice guy as well ! Thanks for the link too.
Agree, Roma, I hope Adelina does well !!!!

| I actually think that Nobu has a shot of topping Taka. I kind of hope he does because that will mean at least 3 Japanese men at the Grand Prix Final. The Shibutanis should win silver right behind Tessa and Scott - I hope the judges don't continue to screw them over just because they are siblings. That really ticks me off.
And I like Denis, too... but I wish he would just move away from Frank Carroll. Frank just has too many students at this point and is probably focusing on Evan Lysacek, his star pupil, getting back to the Olympics. Denis would work perfectly full-time with Rafael - I think Rafael is right now an assistant coach, but full-time with him would make him solid.

Kanako had a fall and URs. Gracie leads. Alena scored higher than Adelina in PCS and Adelina is still having flip problems.

Protocols: http://www.isuresults.com/results/gprus2012/gprus2012_Ladies_SP_Scores.pdf Surprised by the results! But I couldn't feel that Gold's performance was all that good; clean maybe, but...maybe it was the quality of the video, but there's something strange about her jumps...I can't make out clearly what's strange about them, but there's something weird about the way she jumps them...or is it just me? The bottom line is, her performance didn't look beautiful on the whole to me, like it lacked grace, softness, lightness...haven't seen Kiira's performance yet, but if I compare her to Gold, I think she's gonna look gorgeous to me this time with or without mistakes. ETA:We should be able to see mens SP live here http://hotbladeshotpassion.blogspot.it/2010/01/russian-tv.html in about 45min~1hour or so I think. But I'm not sure...

| what a boring competition, no one that really impressed ,kira gave her usuel pretty petty program, alena landed a nice 3-3, but her morozovs choreography is just crappy, she really should change her sp. the only one who positively surprised me was gold she finally delievered a clean program. I still haven't watched Adelinas and Murakami's but to see them so low the standing was really a surprise, in a bad way I was kind of expecting them to lead the field here, but the ice is slippery! | |

| Live stream doesn't work for me either....
I watched Caroline, Kiira and Gracie's SP (somehow, Adelina's keep freezing everytime I try to watch).
I don't know why but I somehow felt that Gracie was going to do well this time round.
It's good to see Caroline back. I always like her smile before she starts skating. But oh dear, it's not her day.
And Kiira, I don't really know that much about techniques but somehow, I never really felt something from Kiira's skating. Her steps look very simple compare to some other skaters' (correct me if I am wrong).
What happened to Kanako? Can't watch her SP.

| Russian men top three right now. Gachinski was overscored... a lot. And Nobu underscored. Not by much, but he only popped ONE jump. He did turn a quad into a triple, but still. His skating skills should have gotten him at least five points higher. | |
