4S was great.

Poor Mai... She got sick after she came back to Japan and couldn't attend official practices. She had fever today too... On the top of that, she just changed skate boots recently.

Here is the comment by Mai

'It was precious thing for me to get elected as Japan's representative this time, but I feel very frustrated with myself that I skated such a shameful performance. I would like to skate my FS till the end and perform good. These 3 days I couldn't skate at all and also I was very nervous, so my legs didn't move at all. I haven't been in good condition since I caught cold. I also didn't have mental strength.'

'She joined team Japan the day before yesterday and she was in bad condition. After she came back to Japan, she did little practice at Chukyo Uni rink, that time she was good. Today was impromptu skating for her. We considered about withdrawing and talked to her, but her will of wanting to skate was strong. As she hasn't practiced, she was mentally unstable too. She hasn't been eating well. We think, if she can do official practice tomorrow, she will be able to skate better on FS.'

I hope that Mai-chan is getting good rest right now and will feel better tomorrow. Go, Mai!

Except for Mai being sick, I enjoyed watching NHK trophy. I enjoyed a lot of performance, especially Nana TAKEDA, Elene GEDEVANISHVILI, they had so much energy Sarah skated beautiful too
Miki skated clean, but I was surprised that she did 3-2 instead of 3-3! She was doing great on 3-3 during practice... I hope to see a lot of good skating tomorrow from everyone

I watched Men's SP while ago. Dai-chan, stepped out on 3 axel, but I enjoyed his skating very much Hope he will skate clean and nice tomorrow I was very happy to see Tomas skated very nice too! I hope he will get silver medal tomorrow (Sorry... I am big Dai-chan fan, so I want Dai to get gold..., I like Tomas too )

Congratulations to Dai-chan and Tomas Tomas skated really nice on both SP and LP, and I enjoyed his performance a lot He got 4 level 4s on SP except for CCoSp and that is so awesome Dai-chan made mistake, but I love his artistic skating and very happy for his win It was nice competition between Dai-chan and Tomas Too bad Tomas can't go final...

Congrats to alol the medalists! I'm really happy for Nana, but I feel bad for Miki

Virtue/Moir were amazing, they were just a hair's breadth from winning. I think they were underscored in the CD. I think the judges are still reluctant to give high PCS to a team that young... Hopefully not for much longer.
