I was wondering if TAT made a white swan, a black black swan or maybe both swans, like the program that she made for Sasha Cohen (a beautiful program), on the videos posted previously in this forum the music's cut start with the white swan, but who knows.

About the costumes, I love if Mao choose something clasic, like Oksana Baiul costume, but no matter wich swan or costume she will choose, swan lake is a dream come true for me, I always asked me why TAT didn't choose this music for Mao, it's an obvious election for her, our Ballerian on Ice

I'm pretty sure they didn't do just a black swan program. For one thing, Mao is perfect for white swan (not that she couldn't do a good black swan to, but white swan is like, 100% Mao Asada all day). For another thing, Ashley just did a very successful black swan program just last year, plus Miki and Adelina did it for EXs recently. Also, the music that we've heard so far is for white swan I believe. I wouldn't be surprised if Mao did a combination of both swans, or just white swan, but I would be willing to bet it will not be just black swan.

White or black or both -- I can't wait to see it in full. We've only seen one clip of Mao in practice during this off season that it's so frustrating. We don't even know her SP music yet. So tomorrow I will definitely be looking forward to her swan lake. More than the jumps and costume I wanna see her spirals, steps, spins, arm movements...

OTOH, Where's Batsuchan? We know she loves ballet a lot. Would love to know her reaction to Mao skating to swan lake.

This is why I hope TAT put some Odile (black swan) in the program to challenge Mao a bit. One feels as if white swan was writen for her, it's trully a perfect match imo, but it would be nice to see a bit "darker, manipulative" Mao as well.

Like I said before, when I imagine her spirals, steps...I see a masterpiece. I can't wait until tommorrow!

I still can't believe thhat we will be able to see Mao swan lake tomorrow, it's just that it's been soo long since we saw Mao debut her program soo early, but you guys can't believe how much i look forward to see her again!

haha! same here. I rewatched that part again and again. It went so fast that I thought it was a double at first. It looked real ok to me at that angle plus Mao's smile after landing the jump gives me positive vibes. :-)

Here's Mirai SP to "I Got Rhythm" from USA Nationals 2008:

The complete title is "Variations on 'I Got Rhythm' for Piano and Orchestra" by Fazil Say (and sice it's a Lori program as well I think the chances are huge Mao will use the same piece of music). The whole piece of music is 8 minutes long, so Mao's cut could be a bit different (if the rumor is true!). It's quite a beautiful piece; it has many moods and goes from energetic to wistful to fun to triumphal... I'd say the music is very "Akiko-esque", but it would be nice to see Mao skate to it; it would be quite a change from her usual SPs.

when it comes to Mao, one can never know? but if this news is true it really is quite different from anything she has skatet too until now!
