Adam Rippon has posted in his Twitter that his new LP is "The afternoon of a Faun" by Debussy, choreographed by Tom Dickson. He'll skate it next week in the Gardenia Trophy.

That's very fast. I wasn't expecting to see him having a new LP that's competition ready this soon.

Well, he didn't go to worlds or 4CC, so he did have the time - since the end of January. That doesn't surprise me all that much - it's wise that he invested that time into getting a new program and starting preparations for next season.

Do you think they'll take on character roles or pull a Yuna and try to do the entire musical (but with better music cuts since it's Igor). Too many relationships in Les Mis -_-

I think they will go for a character pairing, like Fantine and Jean Valjean (though they were never romantically involved), or Eponine and Marius. I'm hoping For Fantine/Jean Valjean, the music for these two is just amazing. Whatever they decide, I'm sure it's going to be awesome. Now if only Igor could make Madison to wear better costumes...

I think Misha is great, I like that he brings a bit of excitemenet to this sport, but I often find him way over the top. I guess he didn't get a memo: sometimes, less is more.

Also, news about Ashley and Phillip. I think it was a wise choice - I don't think he is all that great a choreographer, and I definitely don't think he was all that great for Ashley. The posing was driving me nuts by the end of this season.

I did not see this coming. Though I agree, so much posing was driving me bonkers as well. And she looked so fake. I wonder to whom she'll go, I can already see another Wilson work on her, though IMO, he's not that great either. Looking at Akiko's programs I think she might go to Psquale, or Shae-lynn who's done a show number for her.

Patrick will keep his SP and work with DW for his new FS. good choice, I need to admit that I like his current SP.

Akiko said she had already notified Camerlengo some music she wants to use
for the next season and got a reply that one of them is his favorite.
Maybe he has still been staying in Japan ?

Some update about Mao's plan for working with choreographers:

She will go to Lori in early May for SP. But since now Tat is in the US, Mao will go to US directly after working with Lori, to have the FP done with Tat. By doing so, it's going to save her time from traveling!

Is Tarasova at Detroit now as well? I remember seeing a pic of Tat with Camerlengo taken prior to the World. It will be interesting that all the skaters are going to Detroit....Taka, Patrick
