Just wondering... is Mao wearing a brand new costume that looks similar to her first Bells costume or is she wearing her first Bells costume? Ms. Lin posted about this on Facebook.

Re. the changed costume, I just saw NHK on TV broadcasting news about morning practices after men's FS. Yes, Mao's wearing this one, but I think they also added some bling-bling embroidery to the costume so it looks more shinning.

yes, I prefer the previous costume as well. I've seen ppl giving various (nice) interpretations to the previous one...

It looked like the re did this costume though. Well, I like it, the only part which I didn't like is the back, but we couldn't see it from this picture, hope they changed it as well.
I have one thought, maybe Mao finds more comfortanle to skate LP in sleeves, cause I remember Adelina said it's hard for her to skate without sleeves at all or if costume is without sleeves she wears the gloves. Maybe they're still making a new costume and just for now she decided to wear an old one.

What happened to "I got rhythm" costume?

It's from the new book: for the "I got rhythm" costume, she actually had one made in blue color prior to COC, but the color didn't come out the way she wanted and didn't match the image of the song. In the end she ended up searching through her own closet and picked the orange one.
