I see Eurosport is only broadcasting the free programs, and I thought this was due to the Australian Open, however, the National Slovenian Television, who used to show everything is also showing only free programs. What's up with that? Has everyone bought broadcasting rights only for free programs? The same thing happened last year. Everyone just showed FP.

Considering she changed her programs, I think she needs to test it out before the Olympics. Luckily for her, Euros is not as close to Olys as 4CC is.

pochi thanx! During GP moetv didn't work for me, so I've been watching moskva.tv with not so good quality. moetv is fantastic. Hopefully it will work throughout Euros.

Adelina was awesome! New costume, which I hope it's work in progress, cause it looks like it's about to fall off.
70.73 in 1st! Now please bring it in LP as well.

Both Caro and Adelina did great!! I'm happy that Adelina is finally skating well but...don't you think that Caro was slightly underscored in PCS compared to Adelina? And I never thought I would say this, believe me. I think Caro's program was exquisite, so I expected something closer to 35 in PCS...

Honestly, no. I agree with the score. If Mao, gets only 34+ for her exquisite Chopin, then Caro, should remain in 33 range.
Wow, good score for Leonova, and I see she has a new SP as well. My computer decided to crash during her performance.

Wow Julia is in second and she kept smiling in K&C instead of pulling faces. Now that's an improvement.

I didn't compare the score to Mao's because every competition is different. I agree with you that if Mao got 34 for Chopin Caro shouldn't score 35, but IMO if Adelina got 33 Caro should have received 35. I'm not against the overall scores (at least not totally against them), I was just pointing out that detail.
And Julia was beautiful to watch today! And yes, it seems that her behaviour has improved

Yeah it was totally Adelina night (or day)! Julia was good too, all she need is to sort of give us a bit more room to appreciate what she's doing in between the elements more, so she can not only Wow! us, but move us too I think. But that'll come along as she grows up. Caro was divine as always, but she looked a bit tired and not that much in good a condition to me. She was clean concerning the jumps, but she has to do something about the contents of her other elements.

Julia Carol Adelina
Now I get what Pochi said about Carol She looked tired and wasn't totally on, but that was a very beautiful performance. I think her less-than-stellar results this season hurt her PCS here. She could have gotten higher PCS had she done better at CoR and CoC.
As for Julia, I feel that she did every thing too fast and didn't allow me time to appreciate her performance. Some of her body movements didn't match the music i.e when the music is mellow and meditative, she would do a jerky arm movement etc. She reminded me of someone who read aloud a poem monotonously without truly feeling it, like a robot. If I didn't like the music, I wouldn't care for her SP at all. I still prefer Julia's SP to Adel's. If I turn off the music, I would find Julia's performance more charming. No matter how many times I watch Adel's SP, I can only remember her opening and ending movements. Adelina needs to be more polished, she's not the graceful elegant type that I like.

This is the first time I actually liked a program from carolina kostner, her ave maria was beautiful, no over the top choreography, no fake expressions, and most importantly finally a program, where there seems to be a purpose with her movement, that's something I previously always found lacking. Julia was also really amazing, she looked so confident when she took the ice, as if there were no nerves, quite solid performance from her, and I love her choreography and music, and never get tired of seeing her amazing spirals. Adelina did a great job too, but after seeing the two others, I was a bit surprised that she was in the lead, but then again it's just barely. Her program fits her very well, very adelinalike was the first thought that came to my mind when saw the opening pose. looking forward to the free skate

I've just seen the Ice dance...I'm over the moon for the Italians. Though, had Elena stayed on her feet during twizzles, the russians would've won. I don't know much about Ice dance so I can't say whether the judging was OK, or were they gifting some, while being harsh on others. Also very happy for the Brits getting the bronze.
I was thinking though, this is the second time Elena/Nikita scored over 100 with Swan Lake while the best Katya/Dima got was 97 if I'm not mistaken. True, they had this quite awful program and are changing it back to their last year's FD, but like someone here already said, I wonder whether it's too late for them, and the couples fighting for the bronze will be the french and Lena/Nikita. I hope not.

Well, Adelina's jumps are huge, Julia's are tiny without any flow. IMO, julia was generously scored in PCS, I would've put her in the 29 range. Her SS aren't good enough for 31+, IMO.
Julia's fans have nothing to worry about though. I'm afraid that Adelina will implode tomorrow, while Julia will be her usual self, and will deliver her program mistakes free. I hope Adelina will prove me wrong.

I feel sorry for Elena . Everything was going really really well until the twizzles...Honestly I was not a fan of this program until I saw it live. It's still not the most original program but they blow me away with their passion, speed and great SS. From the arena, that was the most impressive FD at TEB, more than V/M's program.
On the other hand, I'm very happy for C/L since I've always liked them, especially this last couple of seasons. It's great to see them win their first European title!
I'm really surprised that no one mentioned the men's SP. Javi is first with 91 points!! ...Kovtun, on the other hand, is in fourth place. I hope he can finish second or first (although I prefer Javi to win) with a great score, I don't want more Kovtun vs Plushenko controversy
