| OMG! Italy is out! What's happening to all the strong teams this year? And in about an hour, Japan will face another tough match... It's going to start around 3:30 in the morning, but I assume many of us will go to work without sleep tomorrow. I think they have a chance...but we can never be sure. All we need is a tie, but Denmark will be out to win. I hope nothing terrible happens to our team like the North Koreans. They've been bashed within the country pretty bad before the event started, fought well up till now that they won back everybody's support...GANBARE! | |

| Our tv commentator can't stop praising them. I should've included Japan in the poll. | |

| OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are winning!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But we have to be careful...our players are short on stamina... I hope they win this, though. It would be such a waste if they don't. Thanks for rooting for us, guys! | |

Congratulation to Japan~!!!! Yes! Canness, thank your for rooting! And alyssa, I promise I won't complain when they lose anymore! So many sport critics here said they'd lose 3 games in a row not scoring once and come home. Like Cannes wrote, we bashed them as the worst team we ever had. When they won Cameroon, I still thought it was mostly luck. When they lost to the Netherlands, they did lose but I thought they played pretty well. And today was unbelievable! They are so bad in keeping the ball, but they know that and they do everything they can as a weaker team. I think they are the best team we've ever had for WC. They started from not zero but minus...no support from even their own people. But they never complained about that, and kept on trying. Very good spirit! So different from the former teams we had; treated like big stars who made everyone think they might have a chance from the start, but came home with nothing. Btw, I'm glad you're watching WC aoi...the US team is doing quite well, too. But clovera told me that still nobody seems to care about them in America. But they're doing much better than England IMO, and people in the US should root for them more! I hope our guys get to win at least one more game each...but the next round will be tougher!

Landon Donovon did get *some* media attention with his winning goal against Algeria, but there's just as much, if not more buzz surrounding the NBA draft and fantasy football (American football, that is). As usual. Congrats to Japan for making the Knockout Stage!

| US female soccer team is one of the best, but the men don't seem to have much support. Do they think soccer is a sport for girls? ________________ MikiAndoFan#1 and Dani-chan, tomorrow is our time to suffer. E o Joubert é meoooo! | |
