I won't be able to follow the competition live this time (and I guess I won't have time to watch Mao in TEB live next week ). But go Miki and Akiko ! I also hope that Gerboldt/Enbert will perform well (new Moskvina's pair, I am soooo curious because from what I saw so far they remind me a little bit of B&S, I hope I'll enjoy their competitive skating)!

| I think Dai is the only top skater that has any chance of beating PatC this season now. The conditions are that 1) Dai skates perfectly and 2) Patty falls 2+ times. | |

| I think Joubert can beat Chan in SP because on this season his SP has very good choreography and he plans to do 4T-3T. Unfortunately he can have problems with level of spins and steps. I know Chan is good but his scores are too high...

| We all know that Patty will win anyway. He 's more and more confident himself...who would not when you know that even with 2~3 falls, the judges still give you a great score.
So boring.... | |

| You're right, but there is small possibility Patrick will do all his difficult jumps clean in SP. He oftne has problems with his jumps. I have to say I'm impressed by Chan. He's never been my favourite but he tries to do such difficult combination even though he knows he doesn'y have to do it (judges love him even without it ). But I'm not sure if he will try to do it at worlds. It can be too risky. Well... Joubert doesn't deserve as high PCS as Chan, but his new SP is very good and I think he deserves higher PCS than he got in China. ddmm- you're right... Patrick knows he will win even before he takes the ice I don't know what he should do to get less than 70 points for SP | |

- The problem is that Dai doesn't have a quad in his SP.
I am afraid even with the falls Pchan can win Two falls (or a combination of errors that equate to two falls) should do it. Dai *has* to skate clean though - no other way. I'm not pleased at all that this is the standard the judges are setting, but what can we do? Maybe the other men should start stuffing their programs with transitions so they could still get +GoEs even when they have a botched landing on their jumps. . . Both T/T and K/S skated well today. Thank goodness for pairs and their immunity from crazy judging.

| I'm the one who will never be impressed by what Paty 's doing...sadly. He has crtiticized Dai for not doing any quad in his SP. Give us a break BIG MOUTH! Dai who came back from an injury, has been doing quad longer than paty has, and so has many other skaters. Now, Paty's doing quad and he's talking even more. I should call him BIG MOUTH

| Dani-chan, by saying "those" you mean both programs of Joubert? SP and FS? I think his SP is the best he has ever had, but his FS is veeeeeeeeery boring and there isn't almost choreography at all I don't know how david Wilson can sleep after watching it. | |

| I like his SP a lot more than the FP, but the Free still good bc I think it's a very different Joubert with no sexy poses or techno music hahaha :DDDDDDDDD | |

I think he earned them well but they were perhaps a little exaggerated? He's a good skater despite peoples general disdain towards him.
