I kind of agree with you Worlds will be very interesting competition (and we'll finally see Yuna's programs), but many of my favourites which you mentioned before didn't qualify there, so men's and ladies' events at 4CC will be more interesting to me.

Same here. Ever since I found out who the US will be sending it made me wish I'd have tried to apply for tickets. Now my friend just told me she's willing to go with me. huhu. Too late already there are no more tickets for the men's and ladies' events.

My mom and I both ordered tickets, and now we have an extra set of tickets. We have two extra tickets for men's SP/FS, ladies SP/FS, pairs SP/FS, and the gala. Would anyone like them? I don't want the extra tickets to go to waste!

Not only did she land the jumps, but she also brought the lightness and sensitivity that has been lost in her skating, but that she is getting back now. She needs to be gentle, yet fierce, and she needs to bring all of her technical difficulty into her programs. She had a jump downgraded, but still scored over 132, something she hasn't been able to achieve internationally since this competition. I hope she comes back and breaks her record for the LP (which is just over 133) and makes the statement that she is ready for Worlds.

Quick update - Jeremy Barrett split his calf open earlier today, so he can't make it to 4CC. Rockne Brubaker and Mary Beth Marley are taking his place. This'll be interesting, they are such a young team...

Is he a guy who used to skate with Keauna under John Nicks? Interesting to see him again on the ice, I'm quite surprised he found another partner so fast.

It is - and I really like this pair. Mary Beth is only 15!! It will be interesting to see them develop - Mary Beth has never done pairs until this year and is already quite a good fit with Rockne. I hope they do well, they're already a lot of fun to watch!!

Minus the humongous fall in this FS (Mary Beth and Rockne), it was EXCELLENT for being together for five months (ignore the comments on the bottom). And it is fantastic that they even placed in the top five at nationals! I hope they do really well in the next few years.

Miki, Tak-chan and Yuzuru have arrived at Taipei and finished their first practices today:

Miki completed her SP and FS runthroughs. For her SP, she completed the spins and steps along with the music. For her FS, the news article mentioned that she landed her 2A-3T combination well.

Taka-chan skated his step sequence at the practice rink today - he seemed to have altered the choreography of his step sequence. After the inter-collegiate competition in January, he trained at the U.S. and Canada for two weeks. He aims to continue to polish his power of expression on the ice.

Latest interview with Mao and Miki about 4CC; I don't think Mao has arrived at Taipei yet. So the interview must have been filmed at her uni's rink. She opted to stay home and train till the last minute in past seasons - a habit she changed this season, in which she arrived 2-3 days before the actual competition. So, probably, she'll be there latest by Thursday.

Mao basically repeated what she said in earlier interviews about her expectations of 4CC. She hope to do well in this competition, so that she would gain momentum entering the Worlds.

She looks tired...Hang in there, Mao!

Mao was in Sports news this evening. She left for Taiwan.
She looks in good shape and looks like her practise went well. She says it's her first visit to Taiwan.
