One of the best news I've had of Mao this off season:

I can't wait to watch THE ICE! Mao and Taka's number is going to be super cute. I also hope we get to know more about Mao's sp. Even a little hint would be good- lol. It is hard not having a Mao update on a regular basis, but I am relieved that Team Sato is taking their time with Mao's competition/show schedule. I want Mao to get all the preparation time she needs.

Since they did imitate ice dance before, and they think they would do that well They will practice that before "The ICE" and want to show everyone a great program

I love al the pics! Thanks shikure for finding all the links with the photos! Mao looks happy and healthier than at worlds, and I can't wait to see her skate with white boots! I think the classic look will go great with her style and show that she really is a new skater.

I absolutely LOVE the ending pose (i'm asuming it's the ending pose). She truly does look like a ballerina. I guess I'm in minority but I'm not a fan of white boots. i love it when skaters wear tights over boots.

About the doll picture, Mao looks SSSOOO young! Lucky her!

Oh, this is great news! Thank you for sharing to everyone shikure! I'm even more excited now! I wonder if they would use the main theme:
Anyway, I'm happy to see Mao looking happy and well. There's so little Mao news nowadays that sometimes I get frustrated but I just comfort myself with the knowledge that Mao can now focus more on herself and get away from all the media attention.

the Lupin feature film was actually directed by Hayao Miyazaki! I'm so happy to know that Mao is skating to music from a Miyazaki film even if it's just for an ice show. Can't wait to see it!

Haha, I thought the exact same thing. Or secretly rooting for the two to get together. x) And that clip is seriously too cute. It's like you can't help to ship Taka-Mao. She smiled a lot with Jeff during their programs, but that practice clip with Taka...that smile is worth a thousand words!
And thank God for white skating boots. Beige is so...ugh. However, I've gotten so used to tights over skating boots (I used to hate the look growing up), that it looks odd without them. (Also, I hope Mao is wearing makeup this time, so she'll look more mature and fit for the pair EX, even though she is super adorable barefaced. )

they are so cute. I suppose that Taka is the lupin guy and he is trying rescue to Mao (princess)?, I think it will be perfect because they have a lot of time for practice together, no like with Jeff (and it was still great ).
