About 1:50 ~ 2:40 in Kozu's program, right? I hope I'm not wrong, but it still sounds like the midsection of the Nausicaa Requiem (more specifically, the part where the child vocal sings "Lan lalalalala la" repeatedly). With vocals: www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9ka4J77RpU (1:12 onwards) Without: www.youtube.com/watch?v=yODWB9k66_k
I wish I knew which album the one Kozu has in his program is from, though. The music for the beginning is the Fantasia sounds like from "Piano Stories Best '88-'08" http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=UPCI-1080or you can listen to it here http://www.xiami.com/song/2074054The Requiem part is original which was record for the program. btw, lan lalalanlalala was by an adult, a woman not child ~ which surprised me when I first knew that --> way back to long long long time ago.

As for the lan lalalala~♪ it was to my understanding that the vocals were performed by Hisaishi's (Fujisawa's) own daughter, Mai, at least on the initial OST. That's the very first thing the Japanese media brought up when she made her singing debut two years ago, after all. Maybe there's another well-known variant of the piece I'm not familiar with that features an adult singing?

You are right about that ~ thank you and I learn something new today I checked wiki that because they planned to use Narumi Yasuda for OST but the movie released before that and they used Mai's version for movie version.

Sooo cute I loved Miki's Black swan! I'm not the biggest fan of her skating, but if she turns it into a competitive program, gives the same performance emotionally/artistically with jumps/spins like 4cc 2011 . . . it would be amazing. Wouldn't it be awesome if Mao skates to Swan lake as the white swan, then Miki skates her Black swan program at next year's "The ice"?

| That would be awesome if Mao skates as the white swan and Miki as the black swan. Their personalities actually match those characters. Miki has this dark and secret aura in her skating while Mao is just pure and innocent. | |
