Thank goodness it was Tara commenting for NBC rather than Scott "Scoot" Hamilton. Tara, I feel, is one of the few commentators who "gets" Mao's attitude towards skating and the way she's always trying to improve/challenge herself. Tara mentioned in this commentary that Mao's comeback shows how tough and resilient she is. Tara also said that she doesn't know many skaters who could come back like this

Also, I love love love the last spin (the donut into Biellmann) - can't stop watching it.

For some reason, I can't hear anything from the video.

This time NBC's comment is really good, much better than CBC.

I didn't see the SP and EX download link of NBC(anyone can upload it? Thx), NBC's version of this NHK trophy is worth for collection.

Although I do think she and Mao share many similarities--both were dubbed "prodigies" in their respective fields, both are "beauty in motion," and both have a very stubborn, "I'm going to do it my way even if the judges/critics hate it" kind of mentality. Oh, and Diana Vishneva actually did figure skating as a kid, and Mao did ballet--so another connection.

Wow, I never knew Diana did figure skating. She's great, but my all time favorite is Yulia Makhalina

Diana Vishneva actually performed in Nagoya last year (or two years ago?) with the Mariinsky ballet, and I thought that my head might explode if she and Mao actually met.
