Was 3A a bit short on the landing? it looked like that to me. She's almost there! And her 3F-3Lo can you imagine her score if she does both 3A and 3-3 in her sp! (although I'd prefer if she'd go for 3F-3T). I can't wait until 4CC and especially worlds.

aaahhh wish I could see this! Does anyone know if there's a youtube video of that? because it seems like I can't watch the video on fnn-news because I'm in Canada! Thanks

Strangely enough, I couldn't watch the FNN clip at work or on my phone, but it worked on my home PC! And I'm glad, because I got to see Mao's 3F-3Lo! Looks like she's putting that into "Jupiter" where the single 3F goes.

In the actual show, it looks like she missed the timing a little bit, but she did still manage to tack on a 2Lo!

I agree with zarinaballerina that a 3F-3T would be safer, but I think Mao has always preferred the 3F-3Lo. Plus, she's already doing a 2A-3T in her FS... I guess we'll see.

Still looks like there's more work to be done on the 3A, but that's okay! You'll get there Mao!

I can't wait to see the full version of "Jupiter"! The only "bad" thing about "Jupiter"--I'm not really sure you can call it a negative--is that I feel like it leaves the audience so moved and speechless that they are afraid to clap. They don't want to spoil the moment!

Oh, and one more thing about that clip I posted--at the very end, I was like, "Wow, Mao has such a happy smile! I wonder who she's talking to! OHHH, IT'S TAKA-CHAN!!!"

omg! the 3f 3l is very good !!! I am really happy mao is trying it (although I do get the feeling we wont see that in competition this season), but its ok. I hope we can watch this soon since I also want to see miki's program

I thinks Mao to get her triple-triple back is more important than her triple axle in the competition. Nowadays, not many top female skaters have consistent triple-triple in the SP.
So if Mao has a clean short program with a triple-triple, she can have a huge lead before entering the long program.

well that's ofccourse if she decides to put it in the fs, but her 3t is also pretty consistant Mao once said that, that jump is always easily done, she said that after the olympics when her foot got stuck in the ice and therefor didn't do the 3T through it was/is a very easy jump for her!

but I think there might be a bigger chance that mao does the 3f-3lo in the sp since she already is doing a 3f-2l, so upgrading it to a 3f-3lo would mean that she does't need to change the rest of her jump content!
