Aw! That's so motivating polosatik! In terms of raw talent though, I really think Mao is untouchable. She's been noticed since she was young. Techniques can be learned, taught, and polished, but with everything else, Mao has it naturally. She literally belongs to the ice. I couldn't agree more, it's a wonderful comment and so true.
Thank you! After all, isn't she thought of as a figure skating prodigy, along with Elizaveta? Yes, but because she's been strugling people kind of written her off and joined "yuna wagon" instead.
Ok the french couple is also coached by Igor (I think he's one of the co-coaches), who isn't training with him? And who does Marina have, other than the three couples we've seen at worlds?
I culdn't be happier for Igor though. New rink, new teams and new successes. Go Igor! Well, Mao is barely learning the proper techniques as what I've heard, so it's amazing that she's gone this far with her former techniques. To me, it shows that she's talented. It's like singers. A singer with proper technique can reach higher notes, despite their raw range, but a singer without proper technique but has a naturally wide ranged voice can still reach high notes. It probably won't be as consistent and healthy as the singer with proper technique, but it still shows something. At least Mao is fixing it now. I just feel really bad. She's beginning to show promise, but Olympic season is already next year...

| Is anyone else having problems with streaming? it keeps dying and switching to opening ceremony. Hopefully it'll get fixed by the time men start. - Mao_Asada_Sunrise wrote:

I decided to listen to polosatik, and stay optimistic and positive. Though it's true, olympics are approaching very fast, but if anyone can do it, it's Mao.

| It's really bad. Use Internet Explorer or Opera - those are the only two that are working for me. I usually use Chrome.
Awww, that shoutout to Kaitlyn over her birthday was lovely!!! Also, that FD was awesome. I think they are so much better than Tessa and Scott at this point.

| Minus the mess-up on that final lift.... that was beautiful from Madi and Evan. Wow. Igor, I applaud you. Do the same for Lynn and Logan. And Shibs... get your butt over to Igor. WOW. | |

| OH! Suggestion from Twitter - if you have Adblocking software, turn it off to watch it on Chrome or Firefox. That would explain it for me. Although I adore AdBlock Plus... | |

Seriously, he's a freaking genious. Shibs, WTF were you thinking staying with Marina! It's amazing what he'd done in only one season, I do wish though, that Madison would change her costume designer.

| I adore Han Yan's skating. He reminds me a lot of Taka, although Han Yan is better at expression! Gorgeous lines, deep edges, fast... everything. I hope he will be awesome next season. | |

| Wow, kevin was AWESOME. I think the first quad was twofooted but everything else...oh my. He is really making a case for himself for Sochi. Patrick doesn't have to worry though, with judges being in love with him and all... 164, guess there were UR's. | |

| Everyone, pray that Kevin wins the 2014 Canadian men's title!!!! Maybe that will tell ISU judges that Patrick isn't the Skating God of the Universe Eighty Times Over for No Reason Whatsoever.
By the way, Kevin Reynolds needs to cut his hair - that drives me bonkers!

By the way, Kevin Reynolds needs to cut his hair - that drives me bonkers! But it's cute, that ginger mop on his forehead. Do you honestly believe that Skate Canada will allow the judges to dethrone Patty at nationals? It's like asking USFSA to allow Mirai or someone else to win over Gracie and Ashley, I don't see it happening. I do hope though, that SC is in for a rude awakening in Sochi. I just love team France in K&C, so adorable. same for team China and Japan.

To me the applause sounded pretty strong. Edit: but yeah, when you compare it to the others it is lacking. Japanesse crowd sure is very classy, in other countries there would be booing.

To me the applause sounded pretty strong. Yeah, but not as strong as it was for anybody else. Even Max.

| Those mistakes are really costing Max a lot, since there's not much there beside the jumps. | |

| Max needs actual choreography. You can tell that he really does feel the music, but he wasn't given the tools to utilize his feeling for the music. It's not studied or fake like Patrick and Ashley. It's real feeling, but his choreographer didn't take that into account. With that, Max just might be a minor force to be reckoned with in Sochi. That, and if he cleans up his hockey-style crossovers. So, Max - GET A GOOD CHOREOGRAPHER, because with actual choreography, you will kick the US men's butt next season, and I would LOVE to see you kick Evan Lysacek's and Johnny Weir's out of any Olympic contention. I suggest Pasquale or Marina. | |

I second this, but he's Zakrajsek students, they're known for crappy choreo.
