Mao's jumping coach

I'm not sure, but I think that Mao has a jumping coach (she was seating in the K&C with her and TAT at NHK right?). Does someone know her name, and where she's from. Because I found her seating also with Kevin Reynold in the K7C at NHK.. is she canadian?

IIRC, she's a ballet coach and Tarasova's assistant (I think her name was Jana or Zhanna...)

Or at least, that's what I thought from the comments made on niconico douga and Japanese skating sites, but I'm not too sure now.

I think that's Shanetta Folle (who's listed as one of Mao's coaches on ISU). I googled 'Shanetta Folle' and came up with this site - I think that looks like her?

If that lady is indeed Shanetta Folle, then I guess it makes sense that she is with Kevin Reynolds, since Tarasova choreographed his programs too...

On GS, someone said that Midori Ito is helping Mao with her jumps, but I'm guessing that's not true (though it would be awesome! ), or else we would have heard about it already.

Aha, you are right inskate! On the ISU bio page Folle is listed as Mao's choreographer. I guess I got confused because the little box that pops up on the videos that says the skater's name and age, etc, lists 'S. Folle' as one of her coaches...

It seems like a bit of a shame that Lori Nichol isn't credited on the ISU page at all, given that she's created such a lovely SP for Mao...

And since we're talking about this, is that lady in the pics for Msg No. 32 Shanette Folle?

Yup, she's definitely called Janna-sensei there and it looks like she is indeed Mao's ballet coach/Tat's assistant (in Msg #32). I can't seem to gather more information about her though - can someone who can read Russian navigate through Tat's official site and see if she's there? I tried a few times but I had no luck at all.

If she is "Janna" though then I'm getting confused about the deal with Shanetta Folle...."they" look alike, lol.

I didn't noticed anything about this women on TAT site I'll try to find it though.

I wonder if that means she's been staying in Japan with Mao..? If so, I guess she seems more and more like an assistant coach and not just an assistant choreographer...

I think that would be a pretty good arrangement though - train with TAT in Russia sometimes, but have Shanetta Folle with her in Japan... hmm...
