It doesn't mean anything, they can play with jump layout. Now it's like this then it will be like that. Very Happy

Well, last year's TEB was a disaster for Mao, but she pulled off a great one at NHK just 2 weeks after. I wouldn't worry too much. At least i'm hearing good reports about her choreography, although she kinda lost her energy after that fall.

Any exact report on costume? They're all quite different and I don't know which to believe : P

It's like Tatiana said, for Mao to smile later, she must suffer now. So Mao will rise like a phoenix in two weeks' time for TEB!!

Whatever are the causes of today's faults, the good thing is that now Mao has less reasons to make the same mistakes at TEB, where it will really matter.

Wasn't there going to be aired a fluff at 6:30 pm Japan time before the competition broadcast? I've been watching TV Tokyo a while and there's something about fishing be broadcasted.

Really?! Gosh, I'm so embarassed! I guess I did my math wrong. In Azores, we have an extra hour in the summer until late October and Japan doesn't and I did 18:30 (Japan time) minus 10, but it was minus 9 that I had to substract.

Broadcast officially started. Guess I was wrong - unlike Fuji TV or TV Asahi, TV Tokyo chose to skip fluffs and is going straight to the real thing. The skaters are all being introduced now. Razz

I figure it was from so much refreshing!

Anyway, I'm watching the TV Tokyo broadcast now...but the pictures are beautiful!! Even if Mao made some mistakes, I'm sure she was brilliant nonetheless. JO should be a good "practice" competition where she doesn't feel as much pressure, I hope. Very Happy

Yuka Sato, who is doing commentary, mentioned boot problems and nerves Kozu has to get used to. The program itself had a few errors but it was pretty nice (his ice coverage was just ridiculous here).
