Wow so much improvement on the take off for that flip- to my eyes anyway. She's not really leaning forward at all! And the pick-off leg is bent. The height on the 2As are pretty good...

But of course, we'll need inskate for more a more professional look haha!

They said she skated her SP 3 times, and FP once. She seems to have succeeded her 3A, 3 out of 6 times. Practice went on for about 1.5hrs. She jumped over 50 times during it.

A reporter said to Mao wearing her coat with the hood on, 'You look like you're in the North pole'. Mao answered 'I brought this (coat) all the way here, I should make use of it!'

They also said that Mao has been eating more vegetables than meat again thesedays. She seemed to have been very relaxed throughout the practice, and the accuracy of her jumps are getting much better (than how she was around NHK), they said.

She obviously seems much more relaxed, I'm relieved.

I've noticed that she is no longer leaning on her 3A. That is good news.
I wish Mao would eat more ! Can't wait for TEB!

Which combination does Mao want to do in SP? 3lo-3lo or 3lo-2lo? I hope her 3a will be as good as during practice Mao can be history-maker again:

hey Pochi, they say if this is the official practice already? it doesn't look like it is.
Anyway, omg I am sooo happy to see that 3A again, and like genie said I noticed she is not leaning that much anymore yay!

genie!!! are you worried about mao's diet? i dont think we should!!! she seems to be ok and never seems to complain about being hungry (at least i've never read anywhere that she has). i think they're keeping her on low glycemic carbs (which would keep her fuller longer and keep weight gain away) low protein (because they don't want muscular bulk) and lots of fiber. i'm a gym regular and when i first saw mao, i noticed right away how slender her legs are despite all that jumping (and the most difficult ones too). i find her physique interesting actually. i know a lot of athletes and dancers and most of them are thin on the upper body bit a bit heavy on the legs especially the calves and thighs. mao is wispy but she's definitely strong and her endurance is amazing. go mao!!

Mao knows what she has to do.She says that she now eats more vegetable whereas she used to eat a lot of Yakiniku before (BBQ meat). And she's more careful about what she eats.

But I understand Genie's concern. We're all worried about our dear Mao.

Where is INSKATE to help us see Mao's jumps during practise ??

Russian member who uploaded Mao's practice said that Mao jumps were not good, UR and two foot landings.
