Our dear Mao will be competing. Is there anybody here who will be going for this competition?

I can't see any rates for the tickets. Does this mean it's free?

WHAT? omg, guys who live near to Taipei, seize that unbelievable chance!!! Seeing Mao's Liebesträume live will be the most beautiful thing you've ever seen (I speak from my own experience ) !!!!

noo I can't believe that it's free, who would miss a chance to see mao if they lived near the place...

Fill in that form and submit it.
And there are instructions about how to pick up your tickets.
It has both English and Chinese. So it is easy to understand.

OMG! If it's really for free then I wanna go. Unfortunately, I don't think my friends will be willing to...

Why is there a preliminary round for the ladies' competition but not for mens, pairs, or ice dance?

Probably because there's just that many ladies competing.
Unlike Euros and Worlds, all competing nations in 4CC automatically have three entries to every single discipline which just adds to the total number of ladies.

It's been days since I sent an email to 4CC to ask about tickets prices but no response....

I think it's a good chance to see Mao and DAI more closely

Looks like it's free but you can't decide which seats you want.

I just went through the form and you can only book 2 seats per person. Tickets are to be collected at the arena. Now I need air tickets...

I hadn't really started thinking about 4C yet, since it's over a month away. I've never heard of free tickets for any skating event before! I really doubt they're giving any away, especially when there's still over a month left before the competition. Maybe it was like a week away from the competition, and they still had plenty of nose bleed seats left I can see them giving them away, but other than that....

I just received a reply from 4CC to my question about the tickets fees.

IT'S FREE!!!

You just need to fill in the form.

They also require you to bring a copy of your registration form when picking up the tickets at the arena. But....

how can I be sure if my reservation is confirmed or not ???

And the lfight is soooo expensive for such a short trip...grrr...

OMG! So it's really FREE? Now I want to go. But... argh! same with you ddmm the flights are quite expensive even for those budget airlines.

I really am getting so excitet to see mao skate again, but at the same time I am getting so nervous since I know the changes mao is going through and who knows how much of mao's program has changed since nationals, since sato has said that he will would like to continue change/add new things. and how it may affect mao again... especially since the time they have left may not be enough, but no matter what I believe in mao and in sato. and mao has overcome so much this season, eventhrough it isn't that long since mao skated, I already can't wait too see her again....


it's going to be interesting too see how everyone does and if there may accur some surprises, or if everyone will be in top form....

does anyone have a list of who will be participating in four continents?

Now I really wanna go... Mao, Miki, Akiko, Dai, Taka, Yuzuru, Jeremy, Adam, Armin, Alissa, Rachael, Mirai... I wanna see all of them skate live!!!

Oh well... Armin now has another chance at being a Mao fanboy.

Thats really unusual for a competition like that to be free! I never expected those exist Teipei must be rich *rolls*

So what do you all think will be on the podium at 4CC??

I think it will be Mao, Miki and either Alissa or Mirai. Hopefully Mao will be in good form, and will be able to deliver performances similar to Nationals this year. I don't know if Miki will skate as well as she did at Nationals, but I think she will do enough to medal. Alissa has had a strong season this year, but may be looking to peak again at worlds, so I wouldn't be surprised if she made a couple of mistakes. On the other hand, this is Mirai's last competition of the season, so she may give it her all and finally deliver a clean long program. I don't see too much competition from other countries, maybe a Canadian skater could have an outside shot at 3rd if about six skaters bomb, but it's really between the Japanese and American ladies, in my opinion.

I think that mao will be in good form for 4CC....she is practicing triple-triple combos and she is skating with more speed.....I think she will will become a favorite for worlds afterwards

In my opinion, if Mao skates like she did at Nationals, she will medal... and possibly win if others make mistakes. But we all know she is capable of much better than that... she has vastly improved much faster than I thought she would and I really admire her determination and work ethic.

If she skates her absolute best, and put in 3-3 combos in her programs, then I don't think anyone else competing at 4CC will beat her. Yuna is the only one that can challenge her (if both skate their best), and she will not be competing until Worlds.

I totally agree.... if mao is clean she will be unbeatable....im hoping her layout will be
