Getting excited and worried at the same time. i'm hoping that Sato will put his foot down and won't allow 3A.
IMO she needs to start bringing the result, otherwise she'll be hammered in the pcs by the judges, especially since russian "wonder babies" are coming in the next two seasons.

I would vote for the second one.
The judging is absurd, it's like Amano has a think with ladies who try harder jumps. I don't understand Kwak's score(who landed a 3Lz), especially compared with, for example, Alisa MIKONSAARI was scored more(who only did 3T-2T, 3S and a 2A the easiest layout posible). For God's sake she is only one point higher on the Technical Score than Clara Peters who doesn't jump triples, only doubles

okay. i need to fix this live stream problem before mao skates. the stream is extremely choppy! i'm panicking!!!

i actually do not like skaters who include salchows and toeloops (unless the second jump in combination) in the short. it's the worlds. they should bring up their A-game.

Anyone have livestream that can be watched by people in Asia, I can't watch Okami one

I haven't watched Kwak yet; but if tech panel dg every questionable attemp then the cop is flaw. Lady in black, I vote for second one as well.

I missed Min-Jeong, but her score still surprised me. And it's not just the TES - her PCS is low as well.

I hope the scores will at least be consistent...

Min-Jeong was clean, with a 3Lz(might have been a 3F I am not 100% sure), 3S-2T and a clean 2A. She was beaming after her skate. Until she saw the scores.

But it is currently showing a cartoons/children's program as the next group is still warming-up. The picture quality is sometimes choppy and it is maybe because of my internet connection.

The SP is gonna be a low scoring competition with how the others are being scored by the judges. I'm still hoping for the best for Mao-chan whether she attempts the 3A or not.. The only things that scares me is the possibility that she might get injured because of the ice quality at the rink.

Huh? Are you sure you are watching the right stream? Miki isn't skating in Worlds this year. And Makarova is yet to skate.

they are just showing some clips from last year as the third group is jut warming-up.. they might have the live feed from nice in a few minutes..

I'm guessing Amano had some of her jumps <<. Sad, considering her season's best was over 48 and she probably hoped to beat it.

In general, I noticed that this season the judges were rather generous during the GP, but since the 4CC they really started cracking down on scores (especially such elements as step sequences in ice dance). That doesn't make much sense to me. Probably the poor skaters/coaches thought that if their programs scored OK there was no sense to make any significant changes before the Worlds, but now they are judges much more harshly.

Plus, as usual, I'm worried for the skaters whose federations sent more than one skater. I'm guessing that, as usual, only one skater will get 'decent' scores, and the rest will be grossly underscored in comparison to their GP results. (I hope this time I'm wrong).

Wow, suddenly a huge score for Kexin. Good for her! I missed the first part of her program (laggy stream), but I loved the way her layback matched the music.

ETA: Apparently she landed a 3-3!

I have decide not to watch because it irritates me. I think I know Mao's score but hoping that I am wrong.

Yretha also landed a 3-3, but I guess it was downgraded ( score 48.42).
