Mao PCS is low! This is the best she has performed this season (apart from 3A)

mao got low-balled on the pcs again... such a shame... minus the fall on the 3A.. the overall performance is actually very good..

Mao llokes so confident about the other elements ans jumps, except for the 3A such a shame.
Tomorrow i think we can see a fantastic program if she is so confident. But the score could be awsome with the 2A.

could anyone post the the the pcs score and the what mao got on her techncal elements

everyone seems to skate well after that mistake of mao. look at gedevanishvili.

I agree, she actually got lower PCS than last year, despite the fact that this year's program is better constructed, has more transitions and Mao skated with more speed and much better connection to the music.

Exactly..I really admire Mao for trying the 3A for the whole time...but at the same time, she could easily place on top with 2A.. Her score would be much higher, bacause 3a << + fall for sure didn;t give many points, if any. With 3A her PCS would also be higher. Mao has to work on her PCS reputation right now too.
It's like Mao is hurting herself by doing the 3A. What is also strange is that Sato is allowing it...

I don't know what to think now. I love Mao's 3As, even the attempts. However, with a 2A her score would be around 64-65 I guess. So why take so much risk now...?

I actually agree with you. I really thought she learned something this season after NHK trophy were she lost the title because of her stubbornness. Apparently not

the scoring is just frustrating... i'm praying that mao will still be in the last group to still have a podium finish... at the start of her program.. i was hoping that she would only attempt a 2A.. but we all know that doing the 3A is like doing a risky investment.. high risk.. high reward...
