Unfortunately, judges never overscore Mao, most of the time she's underscored, unlike some other ladies... Who, me?

I still can't believe the score Alissa received for the disastrous short. 2 Falls (no combo) and step out on 2A, other skaters wouldn't qualify with this kind of performance.

I didn't watch Brian's performance, but even with the jump mistakes Jeremy didn't give up on his choreography. I don't like how Chan's PCS doesn't seem to take a hit when there is disruption to his program like 2 falls and he can get high 9s in past competitions. But I don't think Jeremy's PCS was terribly off & same with Dai.

Oh, good, it's not only me than. I was almost certain Alissa will not qualify and when her scores appeared, I was very surprised. They were too high for that performance.

the men's short program is turning out to be a splat fest... i'm hoping that the free skate would be loads better...

Yuzuru's score isn't so bad actually. And Daisuke is less then 4 points away from the gold medal. Kozu will move up tomorrow

I agree, he score better than I expect. His PCS even in non perfect program is sixth behind only Chan Dai Abbott Brezina and Jubert.

I really wish he and Dai stick with solo quad, and 3 -3. But on the otherhand, I admire that they want to go for the best even it might cost them some scores.

Taka is in 13th place. Not good. I don't understand the score between Yuzuru and Amodio. Amodio fell, Yuzuru only singled the lutz, had 4-3 combo and 3A out of transitions! Are the judges blind today? Evil or Very Mad

I hope russian pairs will be clean today especially Tanya/Maksim. Wub

A fall on a rotated 4S is worth 7.5(6.5 with the mandatory -1). A single lutz is worth 0.3(with the mandatory -3GOE). Plus Yuzuru only did a 4T-2T. Amodio won on TES, with some margin. I don't agree but this is the system.
