I'm rooting for you Mao. I hope she doesn't worry about her jumps and tense up when she's competing. I want her to skate her programs with the same ease that she skates her ex. No worries...just enjoy it.

Exactly! I just hope she takes it easy.  (I know it's not as easy to do than to say when you are at the center of attention though.  )

True...but I would love for a hypnosis to put her under, and convince her that when she hears her SP AND FS music, to skate lights out and stick her jumps, lol. Mao would be sooo unstoppable.

I want Mao to win at SA. She first skated her Nocturne SP there lights out 7 years ago but didn't do well in the FS. Luckily she still got bronze. This time I want her to do well in both programs and get that gold and complete her GP gold collection. She only lacks SA gold now.

Completely agree with you, however there is a tiny problem with this. Imagine if she were to hear this music on the subway, or in theatre, and she would start "skating" to it with her shoes on.  At least the pulic would be entertained.

Luckily, she has a different mind set now. When I remember under what kind of pressure she was being put then, my heart breaks. I remember her crying after almost every LP.

She had a very good start at JO, so I hope she'll build on that, and will kick everyone's booty.

I like the part when they finished discussing the Rach2 FS program, the interviewer asks: "So this program is like "that's Mao Asada"?" (or something like that). And she answers "yes" immediately. There's no hesitation, and no more confusion in her attitude toward the season. Definitely moving towards a good start!

I think its in every country the same, Eurosport and Eurosport 2.
But im pretty sure, we will find a livestream! From Russia or Italia, they were always great!  

On Russian channel "Sport" (спорт) you can watch Ladies SP live and on another channel "Russia2" (Россия2) you can watch ladies LP live.  I think we can test all links at Friday by men competition

In the second video, she looks so good in that purple shirt  Purple is my favorite color so I am biased, but I would love to see her in more dresses in that color like the one in Liebestraum, purple works for her.  

Her jumps this season are giving me so many good vibes, they look so effortless and she is rotating so fast.

Since it says 'illness from the Detroit event', does it mean he caught a bad cold or flu after that?
I hope it's nothing serious. The figure skating writer who tweeted the info gave me the impression that it's not, so there's a bit relief there. 
I guess it's much better than having an injury at least...but I'm disappointed not to be able to see him skate. Was looking forward to his performances alot. Get better soon and take care, Tenten!

And plz give me a link to one of the Russian channel streams when the competition starts, polosatik. I'd really appreciate it cause we cannot see the Italian streams here in Jpn, unless they've changed their policies from last season. (I bet ya, Asahi and Fuji tv is paying them off not to show it to us...grrrr!)

Btw, I like Mao in purple too just as Dani-Chan, but I of hope she'd stick to the blue dress for her FP. Wearing purple for the SP is fine. But being coached by Nobuo Sato, prepared to skate to a Rach2 FP wearing purple, I kind of think that may be bad luck...since there was a certain female skater who match the exact profile in Turin who missed the podium. I know it won't happen, but of all skaters I'd never want Mao to end up like her for various reasons.

^ Mao looks amazing in a clear deep red, I wouldn't mind if she changed her sp costume to this one. It's really incredible how big difference a it can make, to change the color. it really suits her well.

Which skater do you mean? Fumie Suguri and Kimmie Meissner placed 4th and 5th respectively but they didn't wear purple. The rest were not even close to being medal contenders. I also like Mao wearing blue dress for her FP. She looks strong and powerful in blue.

If anybody is living in the Detroit area and would like a ticket, I have an All-Event that I am willing to sell at a good discount. I also have a pass for the exhibition.
